In all seriousness I cannot STAND when Desugogis are done like this, shit’s already so expensive. I’ve made my peace I will probably never be able to afford one, even if I had the money to do so, and paint overs that destroy the sculpt are just...painful.

I actually don’t mind the metallic sprays, spare for that chrome shit. I feel like it throws it off. The colors themselves are not bad, to me anyway, but tomato tomato.

It's all so well done but not up my alley at all. Especially the pebble man at the bottom. Although the pebbles are well done.

Maybe it’s just me, but I absolutely can’t stand to look at those dirty fans. I’m almost more bothered by the fans than the horrible customs!

I have uttered this quote to myself, and probably somewhere in here before, so many times when these customs drop.

These may not be the worst of the worst but how much paint is enough paint? So heavy handed...I truly wonder when they decided "ok this is done. ahhhh one more clear coat should do...)

I personally cannot see the attraction to toys that have so much clear coat on them that they lose all sofubi material visual, and look more like high gloss porcelain. To each their own, always, I just don’t get the appeal.

While I like gloss finishes, they seem to come out best in this medium as the natural result of high-clarity clear vinyl and translucent vinyl paint that adheres on its own, like vcolour. I'm thinking Gargamel; many of the clear croucher are like jewels and seem to stay that way over time. Ultra-glossy clearcoat tends to attract fingerprints that diminish the toy, especially on dark vinyl.

I have seen brilliant clearcoat finishes that avoid this problem, but they seem to be more of an exception to the rule.

I just associate overuse of clear coat to toy customizers a la rainbow. I myself do not use it but I should start for extra paint job security. At least a light coat. I recently used some pearl paint that added a beautiful subtle luster to a run. It was very nice.

I like it. His toy and it’s groovy.

Price is high but no different than let’s say Longneck.
Big pieces, fun paint and no hype.

Prices vary depending on paint, i picked up a piece for about 15000, 18000 last year.
Not for everyone but some of you might flip your script down the line.
