I need some help today. I was chatting with @animator about hamburger kaiju and I brought up a weird one I can’t remember the name so I couldn’t search for it- it’s an alien in robes, but it’s head looks like a hamburger with eyestalks. I can picture it in my head but I don’t know it’s name. It’s neo kaiju from the last 10 years or so I think.
    Can anyone help?

Is it Spooky Parade’s Ban - Ban? That’s what came to mind first.

Thanks for bringing this guy up, Phil - I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see this guy get a mention. I have one of these and totally love him to bits. I wish more had come out of the line. I know of a few other versions (at least a different paint and clear vinyl) but the one I have is as pictured (which might have even been a Pop Soda collaboration, but I can't remember the exact connection.

I first came across Bun-Bun or Ban-Ban from this post way back in 2009, and immediately fell in love. I adore all 'food' toys, and the whole alien chef thing was just a perfect amalgam of creativity. I have hunted this version for all these years, so if anyone does ever see one, or has one they are looking to part with, my PM box is waiting for your call. :)

Yeah this spooky parade guy can be chalked up as another toy I should have grabbed when I saw it years ago when it was cheaper and easier to get… but now I have a name so I can keep an eye out.
Also I think this is the best burger related soft vinyl monster toy.

I also really like this toy, and like all spooky parade toys or the most part, I wish they made more and were easier to come by. I've managed to just grab a few obscure Spooky Parade resins and vinyls. This one pops up more often, but the pop soda searching has become a total drain since Funko Pop made a bunch of soda releases.

Spooky Parade has always kind of flew under the radar, they made these really cool resin toys which were pretty much like Dino Riders, I think it was a collab with Dr Strange Toys.

Yeah no, alien burger chef still wins. But it’s wild that there are so many hamburger kaiju now that I think of it. How many can we name?
Already there are three so far:
    ban-ban
    Cranston
    Patty power

if you can’l think of one, please add it to the list.

There is also the Dune Flavors 'burger', in all of its...ummm..... flavors. I like it quite a bit personally, and would not at all turn down a family/diner full of them, but have equal love for all hamburger toys so I cannot elevate any to the detriment of the others.

There's way way too many burger toys lately. Here's a list I compiled... I don't know a few names or makers.

    Cranston - Science Patrols
    Ban-Ban - Spooky Parade
    Patty Power - S7
    HappyVisitor - Kaize Toys
Tiny Burger shown above - Our Little Sky
    (unknown name) - Dune
Gamera Burger toy - (unknown maker)
    Elephant burger toy - unbox

There was a booth at dcon, 1 of those sell a bunch of vinyl toys and vintage toys for crazy prices booths. They had a bunch of cheesestroyers for $100-$150. Maybe next year I can mule 1 for you.

That guy had some pretty cool stuff, as well as some absolute gems! However, his prices were beyond trash for majority of everything he had. The amount of Cheesestroyers in his tote was pretty wild. He was tryin’ to sell me on ‘em so hard, but stopped the moment I said I know who Glenn is. Not sure why that was a deterrent. He had a lot of original resin versions, too.
