Realized I never posted my 2nd LB, so posting for posterity's sake. Was very happy with the pulls. It was the first time I've pulled a standard Deathra from an LB, and I absolutely love this one.
Congrats Paul so happy you scored the Deathra!! I'm still thinking about getting one more bag, to try and get that Mibora. Did just score a Sparkle Mibora from a board member, so maybe I should just count myself lucky enough lol.
Thanks! Oooh, the sparkle Mibora is so nice. Congrats! That is a super hard one to get for sure. Yeah it's a tough call whether or not to go for another bag. When I caved and ordered a second bag, I was so worried I'd end up getting the same bag I got the first time. I couldn't believe my luck when it ended up being the Deathra bag, but I also breathed a huge sigh of relief to not end up with all dupes.
Does anyone have a picture of the homage to the zagoran and mibora paint? I know it's been mentioned but not posted.
2 years ago S7 had deadstock bags at 5 points for like $75 each. Would be fun to come across deadstock bags from, say, 2012
Funny enough, Mark K just sold one in his sales thread. Mark, hope you don't mind my quoting this here, if any issues I can take it down. Here was his pic, beautiful fig:
It was weird as i didn't recognize some of them because of how much the tobacco smoke had discolored the clear vinyl
i've given up with Mandarake for the most part. I used to be able to catch a few things, especially secret base and some gargamel. I don't know what's happened in the past 2 years but the things I'm hunting are always sold out by my morning.
I just grabbed a pack of unopened Mini Tetran & Mini Belargon guts uncut. They're the same color. Someone was saying a low dose of peroxide is good for cleaning old he-man figures, I don't know about sofvi though..
Do you think that was it or the lighting? I mean the bakobas that they posted looks so off and did not look light blue.
They mention tobacco discoloration in the details. There is also a photo of the underside of the feet, it shows the contrast of what the vinyl used to look like.
. . . or exposure to light. *edit* Missed the confirmation that it was tobacco. That's gonna stink real bad!
