I think it's an upcoming release, in the next wave of Buto releases (eleking also).

There were only 3 new items avaiable, the Trashman, Nise Ultraman and Red King and they all sold out. . All the other toys were old stock. No Woo or Eleking. Also, no original art for sale, only postcards and mini books.

    Dennis,

Are the Woo and Eleking new figures that are "coming soon" ? Thought I'd seen some proto pics on the blog...

That Woo is incredible! Great show. I spy a new character from the Chibira-kun show, too...

I think they were made as flyers.
All were snatched up from what I was told. :(

Man, so sad to hear. I agree, it would have been cool to have a hires version available to print out.

After seeing the pics for this show it really made me appreciate the sculpts of butanohana, they work beautifully showcased together like that and it's made me desire a large mass of butanohana toys in a similar fashion.

There is a slightly crude, definitely patchi vibe in their toys....and its addicting. Their renditions of classic monsters are especially intriguing....the Woo....is just amazing. Can't wait!

I never noticed that black Nise before. Hubba! Fun to see the Papagon mash, too.

He didn't show up for sale for another few years.

I'm not sure I understand your question, Grace.

Ummm... I meant, has Mr. O ever collaborated with another toy maker to produce a "joint" toy? As I remember he teamed up with Gargamel to produce a few clear Thrashmen, no?

These 3 from the show were considered to be co-releases:
Thrashman (his sculpt of their character) had a Gargamel header (with both maker's names printed on the back), Nise and RK had Buta headers,

Before this, the black King Joe was released through Medicom.
Most of the BxG Thrashman toys released later also had a Ggml header.
Bwana has painted several of Buta's toys, but I'm not sure if any of them were considered a proper run outside of the Rootbeer Thrashman and the resin-infused Trashcan.
The pocket S-Taains (G's sculpt of S.O.'s character) were produced and (mostly) released by Gargamel.
The 4th release of King Goji was also a co-production with Medicom.

I feel like I've typed all of this at you before. Maybe not, der brain ist furry.

Jeepers! You are quite the encyclopedia of Buta (that's a compliment ;)). er, I don't think you've typed that to me before. I had forgotten about all the other collabs, good to know! Aha! So that's where the Red King hails from! What I wouldn't give to have been at that show to adopt those toys!

I really wanted to buy the Oohashi custom Pocket Smogun (SC-07 ) back when it was posted on the Gargamel blog, but I couldn't afford it at the time.

I checked in with the Gargamel crew a few years later when I saw the customs still showed on their blog without noting "SOLD", to see if they by chance still had them. Kiyoka wrote me back saying that anything that went unsold had gone back to Oohashi.

I then asked the buying service I was using to check in with Oohashi for me to see if he still had any, and if he was selling them. Oohashi replied and let them know he had them and that he wasn't selling them at that point.

    Hope that helps, Grace. :)

^^^Thank you @paulk ! I bet adding just one of those paper toys to your collection, would've been quite mind boggling . But it is good to know they still exist, and didn't get lost in a back room somewhere :D

p.s. love the noogie buta avatar :)
