Come on Kris, be a pal and just tell us everything now. Brian won't be upset that you spoiled it, I promise.
I like my job.. soo..... anyways.. Exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con 2016 and available only at the Skeletor's Lair pop-up shop! Exclusive packaging and colorways for Wave 1 characters and also the first time anywhere debut of the new Wave 2 M.U.S.C.L.E. figures (He-Man, Stratos, Sorceress, Orko, Fisto, Battle Cat, Grayskull, Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Kobra Khan, Spikor, and Stinkor).
I really like the addition of the Wave 2 figures, the new characters (and poses) are wonderful, but Grayskull is especially so nice to see. Hopefully this means an eventual Wave 3 with a matching Snake Mountain! These MOTUSCLE sets are the bees knees. I can hardly believe they never existed this whole time.
That was great! While the voice might not have been quite there, the dialogue and intonations were pretty well done. Nice work Super7!
At first I thought "The Worst" was some new comic book that I hadn't heard of - the logo reminded me of something Image would publish. Kind of fit in with the style of Walking Dead, Outcast, etc. But I'm guessing it's a new line of characters for S7 - a new gang to stand next to the Monster Family group?
Well that explains it then!! AMAZING. You guys really did a fantastic job, and while it may be something little that goes unnoticed by the general masses, I can attest to there being people who really appreciate the efforts. And a big 'thank you' to Mr. Oppenheimer!
As extensive - and truly amazing - his voicework from the cartoon oeuvre is, if I was going to pull up a random reference quote, I would go with this one,
OK, THAT looks way more awesome then I remember. Probably going to have to check it out again. Falkor still looks kind of pervy, though.
I'm very excited about all the Super 7 MOTU reveals. It seems to be all quiet on the Matty Collector front at the moment with shovels-full of doom and gloom over at the .ORG because there has been no official SDCC announcements regarding either MOTUC or the incoming Thundercats line. There is a lot of speculation as to whether Super 7 will pick up the licensing to continue to make the MOTUC line, but I have no idea whether this has any weight to it or not. It's interesting to see what is (or is not) developing between this board and the .ORG. Regardless, as a MOTU fan, I'd just like to say thank you to Brian and the Super 7 team for continuing to release to great MOTU items, while my wallet may shudder and whine, you're keeping raging nostalgia alive. Don't let it stop any time soon PS - a MOTUSCLE Stinkor?????? oh HELL yes!
The glow Wing Kong looks GREAT -- The best one yet! Should the Cyclobot promo not have a Secret Base logo? Is this not a collaborative release?
I think he was more just winking/referencing the fact that only the Alien figure was highlighted with the term 'Japanese vinyl.' [As the whole lot from this preview is soft vinyl toys.] We do tend to love our toy semantics on SB. I think Super7 has a great line up represented, SDCC is going to be a blast I am sure. And whether Gargamel has another collab surprise in store, well, here is to hoping.
