This conversation is best saved for a conversation, and not to be posted on a public forum... EDIT: because Sam appears to be a sociopath who will do anything to get what he wants. Keep yourself out of any legal harm. I think this piece of burnt shit has an assload of karma coming his way, though...
Oh shit the busizem guy, oh boy I remember reading this stuff... Hopefully something works out in favor of the seller. Also really sucks for the other customer:/
Just notified my old high school classmate who now does professional glass work in Colorado. He's going to be spreading the word. In his own words, "This guy isn't going to last long in the glass community." Sweet, sweet justice.
Hey, Biter Fish's butt was just meant to be photographed and admired! At least that's what I tell myself
I've actually seen garbage like this happen before in the Star Wars costuming community. Unfortunately it's not uncommon for things to just disappear in the postal world. Here's an example and something that actually happened to me. I ordered a spear and axehead from a certain business online, judging from reviews it was reputable as well. I wait a month and a half and it never shows up. I contact the seller and file a paypal dispute as they're doing nothing to assist me in the matter. I go to one of the postal hubs nearby and they've never actually seen the package. Two months after that I actually get money from the postal service in the mail in check form. The seller never saw the package returned and I never received my purchase. As far as the seller knows I probably have both items I purchased and just filed a paypal and postal dispute because i'm a cheap SOB who didn't want to pay for something. The postal service sucks, man. I'm sorry that has happened to you, and hope it gets resolved in some way. EDIT: I also just went back and reread what was written a couple more times and I completely misunderstood what was stated. Either way, have you filed a fraud dispute or something with Paypal? I believe stuff like that can get resolved if it's within a certain number of weeks/months.
You don't know who you're dealing with. Sam makes Two hundred thousand dollars a year flipping toys. He's a PayPal vip. You can't touch him. He's got the game in checkmate.
Sam has repeatedly shown himself to be a shit, and I support threads that expose his doings, but I can't get with posting pictures of people's homes here. I think it's bad form. If that's out on the web where anyone can find it, so be it... I don't think it needs to be posted here. But that's just, like, my opinion, man.
"out on the web" I hope that's just a very poor choice of phrases. But anyway....so its okay to rip people off online but doing anything about it is poor form?
It's not like he posted the address...which, I think, we should do. How many people has he ripped off and so far nothing has been done.
Yes, it was. Sorry I'm old and tired. No, as I said, I support doing things about it. But yes, posting pictures of someone's residence on a publicly-viewable forum in an ire-raising thread like this is poor form. I want what you want: Sam taken to account; severely limited in his ability to acquire toys; and I want the people who've been ripped off to get what they're due. How to most effectively go about all that in the real world I am not sure, and I have no personal stake in the effort, but make a private conversation to figure it out, friends. Go behind the scenes. I don't want to see a house vandalized or burned, I don't want to see a dog or girlfriend or any innocent, non-involved person physically harmed. I don't want to see Sam physically harmed. And if you think any of those possibilities are far-fetched, think again... you're making a very poor choice of very possible outcomes to defend.
I didn't understand what was wrong with "out on the web" either. I'm old, too, but I do like to think I keep up with the young people's lingo and their parlance. Doxing* is generally not cool and posting a pic of someone's house is treading a line, but without an address it's essentially useless to any would-be Charles Bronson types. Might be something we might want to nip in the bud, though. *some of that lingo I was talking about
HAAAAA quoted before I edited. Damn. Yes, agreed- treading the line, nip in the bud. Slippery slope. Let's just not, here on our doll-colecting board.
Wait, no, I was being serious. I guess folks don't say "web" to much lately... but now I feel like out of it
