And now you're apparently just spamming up the board despite just having complained that my posts weren't worthy of being posted here or something, and despite my having offered to discuss this in a more appropriate venue. You're really showing kind of an ugly side here, fella.

Nope, just calling you out for being an obsequious wind-bag and an obsessive thread-stalker . . . . apparently you dont like my criticism.
That is your right. It also appears you like to play the victim if anyone questions your behavior.

Do excuse me, 'king of skullbrain'. I will stop posting now to make room for more of your walls of text . . .

For whatever it's worth I hope none of this stuff changes how much time and effort you put into SB itself. You are a truly delightful person and anytime I see your name as the last reply in a thread I always click to see what you shared. You do a lot to keep this place interesting and your efforts do not go unnoticed.

To answer those questions - yes, the first pic is mine, took it in my dining room. My "SS" = my "shopping service" in Japan, she also picks up all of my clothing as well, anything I want from Japan she nabs for me, which is always clothing, disney stuff, toys, jewelry, etc. My Keberosman was off y!j, she couldn't go to Wonderfest because she was at Handmade Japan that day instead. No boxes from an ex, I'm married.

I gave you a pass because of your 'medical condition' but have always thought of The Moog as 'Mr Nice Guy' . . . It cracks me up that even he's getting pissed with all the post-whoring!

Please (I'm being nice!) give your keyboard a break! You are doing yourself no favours long-term!

And Moog, baby, why are you 'liking' posts relating to this issue when you haven't bothered responding to the message I sent you attempting to discuss it? Please, try to be a man.

Not it at all. Totally missing the point. You are annoying a lot of people, i'm just one of the few pointing it out to you.

What i like and dont like is none of your concern. I dont want to 'discuss' anything with you, in fact - i think i've made my position very clear!
    Get over yourself, nobody gives a shit . . . .

Feel free to NOT respond to this post.
Go on, i dare you. I dont think you are capable.

    No, sorry.

Andy is right to point out that It's significant that someone like Moog is lashing out. In the nearly 6 years that I've been reading Joe's posts, he's never once been rude to anyone here, or felt the need to speak out to this extent about behavior on the board. You may not like the way that Joe is handling his frustration, but he isn't saying anything that others haven't tried to point out to you elsewhere in the past few weeks. To suggest that it has anything at all to do with your opinions about shoddily made bobble-heads is missing the point. Please try to identify the common themes in people's pleas with you, and trust that we're not all clueless, impatient assholes. To varying degrees of politeness, you're being told the same thing over and over again, and the more you rail against it, the more you're alienating yourself from the rest of us.

Moog being rude is equally as rare as Andy trying to be nice --- do what you can to drop the defensiveness and take that to heart.

Seriously, man. I've been trying to not chime in but god damn. I used to get into spats with board bros over dumb shit every now and then but have toned down a lot over the years, both on and off the boards. To put it simply: You really ought to put more thought into your posts. Think to yourself whether or not what you've typed up is worth being read by someone else before hitting Post Reply. I'm not trying to be mean by saying that, just honest. I used to be a lot more rude and reactionary. I even got banned once (technically, my account was actually deleted from the forum database, resulting in hundreds of lost posts to this day) for poking a grumpy mod with a dull stick.

The advice that others have tried to give to you recently has seemed to have fallen upon deaf eyes. I, too, was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, considering the vague mentions I've read about your personal life and your circumstances. I'm here thinking, 'you know, maybe he's just bored, lonely, or whatever, do your thing, guy.' However, Joe has been pretty spot on. Everyone has personal issues -- Me, I deal with depression and anxiety from time to time. Skullbrain is not anyone's therapist.

Half of your overly verbose posts are just statements about not liking something, or that you don't get it. That's awesome -- It's great to know what you do and do not like when it comes to collecting. Over the last decade of collecting sofubi, I've really grown to learn what I personally love about this rad little world. There is a ton of stuff being posted that I do not like but commenting on it saying so doesn't actually add anything worthwhile to the discussion. It's just another inane post to scroll past. Hell, you even posted in my birthday thread, not to say anything about my birthday but instead mentioned something irrelevant and befuddling about my avatar. Every thread does not need to be subject to your thoughts. There comes a point when posts like that just become noise. We're all noticing it, only a select few are saying anything about it.

    Seriously?

He said outright he was not interested in getting any private messages from you at all yet you think it's okay to mock him for ignoring them.

Your go to defense seems to be I can do/say/type/post whatever I want because no one is forced to read it then you belittle and insult someone for not reading what you wrote even though he made it crystal clear that any further conversation with you was unwanted. That's nuts.

You made it abundantly clear that you have literally no friends at all so maybe when friendly people are giving you friendly advice about how to ingratiate yourself into this community you should actually listen instead of dismissing everything that everyone says because they aren't a staff member. It's not hard to make friends here at all. You seem hell bent on making enemies instead. Maybe stop and ask yourself why that is instead of asking and attacking everyone else.

Have you guys tried the ignore feature? I got tired of all those inane posts awhile ago and it has greatly improved my browsing experience.

OK, well, I really didn't realize this was a problem for so many people here. I'm 44 at this point in my life and I don't think I've ever had the experience of anyone feeling that what I had to say was not worthwhile, and up to now it seemed to be an assholish minority that was expressing that here. But if, for whatever reason, that happens to be the case for this community, it'd probably be best for me to just move on. I just don't think it would be particularly enjoyable for me to constantly have to second guess and censor myself, or run my comments down some sort of mental checklist before submitting them. I mean, it is unfortunate, because this is the only community I'm aware of this kind and I do genuinely like quite a lot of you all, but, I don't know, I don't really know of any other viable options. I really do hate to do the whole "I'm leaving the forum" bit, but just disappearing would seem just as bad to me. I imagine I'll still peruse the forums at some point, and I would like to continue to buy from the sale forumers if the particular sellers in question don't have a problem selling to someone who's not actively posting. Not sure how that'll work out, actually.

But, we were having a discussion? In that I was responding to things you were saying and vice versa? I merely took it off forum to avoid a the kind
    thing you were complaining about?
No, not any messages at all, he said he wasn't interested in any 'wall of text' messages, which I did not send him. And I think it's fine to mock someone who desperately wants to address an issue in one forum, but not in a potentially more productive one.

At any rate, I'd like to thank those of you who attempted to address this whole thing without having to resort to complete assholery, and tried to take my particular situation into account, not only in your interpretation of my activity here, but in the way you chose to communicate with me. I really think a couple of the more seriously flawed individuals here who chose to become borderline-abusive, petulant jerk-offs really need to take a look at you guys, and then take a long look in the mirror.

Christ on a tricycle with a sidecar:roll:.....Back to more fun stuff:

Pleasantly surprised the Rampage Woo came in so soon, completely forgot about that guy. I got the orange slip yesterday and it said "2 parcels from Japan" I'm like WTF two parcels? Some nice SB member gifting me a early b-day present?! Sure enough....The Yamomark Kanegon is also really nice. Highly recommended! And yes I switch from black coffee to straight up Hefe Weizen (in this case Pinkus) as soon as I get off work!

How exactly did you figure that out if you have me on ignore, when my comment is the only place that's mentioned that I'm going?
So not only are you unfamiliar of the basics of how the forum works, you're rejoicing at being able to block someone who isn't going to be posting anymore. Brilliant.

And yes, I realize I am posting after I said I was done, but only to wonder aloud why chimmychazz is reading posts from someone he's ignored.

And if anyone else wants to make these kinds of snarky little comments after I've said that I've gotten the message and that I'm moving on, that's awesome. It makes the whole thing a lot easier for me.

Ummm wtf is your fucking problem? Seriously crawl in a hole and fucking off yourself for all I care! Done being nice, super troll. For your info the world does not revolve around you an your inane comments here. I posted to the thread titled "What you just got in the Mail" thread NOT "Odibex's personal inane message thread" Why? Because I had some things come in the mail. Funny I didn't have you on ignore but now that you mention it.... you give yourself way too much credit, like I have time to read your wall of b*tch text. Please do us all a favor and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Seriously seek professional help for your 24-7 pity party.
