^ Ha ! Metal Kitchen is cute ! Now could she stand a cook-off with Grindcardo ?! I know, I know. it's in french (accent du Lac on top of it) just look at 3:50 for a glimpse of the magninifiant Evil Grinder *Grindcardo is a spoof of Ricardo - a local TV chef...
Going to see Nekrogoblikon tomorrow in Atlanta. If you haven't heard of them, just watch this. Hell, even if you don't like the music, the video is fantastic.
^ Aside from when they kick it HellHammer style, I'm not too much into this prefab boys band What I'm looking for setup (following Ig conversation) is close to Joey Baron's, whom I'll be close to in a couple lifetimes : And to keep this post on topic, DI's rebirth ! RReeeeReeeReeeReeRRReeeee
I've only approached drums from a hardcore or metal perspective. Joey has a different set up in each video, I could never play jazz style with the snare tilted and the stick grip like in the second video The Despised Icon track is great. Can't wait for that album. I've been obsessed with these weirdos lately. Things get bizarre at about the 2 minute mark.
Reviving this thread as I'm constantly finding myself turning to Cattle Decapitation for assistance with sculpting toys. Do also love Black Dahlia Murder's "Nocturnal" album.
Ugh. That new Darkthrone single is phenomenal. Best tunes I've heard from them since Hate Them, which is my second favorite of theirs. Nocturno sounds amazing here.
Was just going to comment on the new Darkthrone. Hadn't sat down and actually listened to it until it was posted here.
The new Meshuggah album, "The Violent Sleep of Reason", is due out October 7th. They're touring this fall/winter too (already got my tickets). First song was just released:
That new Meshuggah track is awesome. Very reminiscent of Chaosphere, specifically New Millenium Cyanide Christ, to my ears. That'll be one to pick up for sure once the full album drops. Not sure if there's any On Broken Wings fans here, but I'm absolutely lovin' their latest effort, Disintegrator. My favorite track below.
I'm pretty sure they played the whole album live for this record meaning each song is it's own take and they strung them all strung together. Cool concept not to go back in and overdub especially when you consider the technical aspects of what they play. in reality i guess it's just like playing a lie show though
Not really metal - but not NOT metal? - Helms Alee comes out with a new album tomorrow! Love me some Helms Alee! http://www.brooklynvegan.com/listen-to-helms-alees-new-lp-stillicide/
Going to see Windhand tonight. Here's my personal favorite song of theirs. ?version=2&fs=1">?version=2&fs=1" />
Just a gentle reminder that new the Meshuggah album, "The Violent Sleep of Reason", is now officially out! ?version=2&fs=1">?version=2&fs=1" />
