Sitting at my desk in the office and saw a charizard and kabutops spawn nearby...can't just get up and leave the office, haha, fml!
seems like niantic opened up the pokemon flood gates! there are a lot more spawns around me (and my brothers in los angeles). the spawns also seem to be a lot more random. pokewhere is an app that's been working really well for me!
It really does, now that I'm at 130 or so I check P-go Search (japan only I think). Recently I've seen Chansey, Lampas, Hitmonlee.. things you'd never see before. And loads of Snorlax. It does make me wonder if they are giving people a chance to finish off before moving on to generation 2. Surely if they add the new pokemon they will have to reduce the occurrence of G1.
I'm so thrilled with the new spawns, I've never seen a Grimer on my radar before! I saw a Koffing too. Weren't able to find either, but that's fine... that means there's at least a chance!
^Jealous. Opposite for me. Still never see the jawns I never used to see, and my spots where jawns I could use would occasionally spawn have simply dried up. Used to refer to them as nests, until I read the definition of a nest. These spots would spawn as many in a day as a legit nest spawns in an hour. I'm officially done as soon as they release future generations. Not only are they real crappy in my book, but how are they going to drop hundreds more before dropping the 9 they made unavailable for no good reason?
Update for me...Dratini is goign to be my downfall... Caught 2 at SDCC... Havent seen once since. Needs: 21 Bulbasaur 4 Charmander 6 Grimer 3 Gastly ( I want haunter back, i evolved straight through to gengar first time) 7 Drowzee 6 Oddish 15 Bellsprout ugh the struggle is real!
Catches... So the plan was to go HARD in NY, as they had a shit load of what I needed left. I got home and checked recent... being gone 5 days... I caught 1 Vulpix. meaning that was all the catches I got while away. LMFAO
there was a decent amount of ghastly, bellsprout, and drowzees around. Mostly magnemite and voltrobs though. didn't play as much as i would have liked but i'm up to 133 now. have about 3 or 4 with just 1 catch left.
Need Bellsprout and Drowzee so it would of knocked 2 more off... stuck at 134 out of 136... and whats even crazier to me... i knew i was 134-135 it says i saw a dragonite and didnt catch it... i don't recall this shit at all!
My boyfriend just texted me to tell me he caught two Gastly and a Marowak at work already... And I'm stuck in bed with another cold. Jealousyyyy
I'd stopped playing for a bit (though picked up in Tokyo and got a few there) but this ghost spawn is amazing XD I have yet to get a Gengar, but I've caught so many haunters and gastly just since last night that I'm so close to an evolve! And got my first marowak this morning The extra candy has been amazing as well!
I put mine down for a long time, but picked it up again for the Halloween & Thanksgiving events. Generation 2 is rumored to drop sometime soon (Between today and 12/12). Anyone picking it back up? I am loading up on guys who I will be able to evolve when Gen 2 pokemon hits! haha. (Horseas/Snorlax/Jigglypuff etc)
I managed to snag a Mr. Mime while on vacation and no roaming internet . I'm still pretty far from complete at around the 110 mark. Still have a couple to evolve but I think I'll wait till it is closer to XMas cause you know they're going to have a bonus.
I still play casually when I'm out of the house, but less often than usual. The gym changes have been a bit of a bummer and it seems like people have a habit of rolling through my entire town and taking every damn gym... and putting 3000CP Dragonites and bullshit in there. I still haven't "joined the 2000 club" so to speak, the egg hatching has been so shitty that I don't have any Snorlaxes, and certainly don't have any Dragonites. I haven't seen a Dratini in a month.
Oh em gee, that Santa-chu makes me want to play again.......too bad it's winter and fucking cold outside. meh.
