The keshi guys are much more thoughtfully rendered and executed than their bigger toys IMHO...they look like lots of fun. Especially love that robot.

The designs of the left arms on their bigger figures always confuses me. I can never tell what it's supposed to be.

They are announcing new vinyl figures soon. One looks like a zombie infected cop or something, looks nothing like the first bunch but more cartoonish.

Million times better than the first toys they did, anyone know why they went with such a drastic difference
in style? Reminds me of a cop that should be in the Troma universe.

I agree, I really have zero interest in the original line, but this sculpt is actually really well executed. The proportions and sculpting is cleaner, and there isn't a bunch of random texture slapped on it. (I'm sure some of the texture on the originals were intentionally placed, but to my eyes it looked like they were just trying to cover every square inch with random texturing.)
Still not something I would buy, but I'm impressed regardless.

Still not my cup of tea but LOADS better than the original figs. The stance of the sculpt is fun. Dehara character meets Sloth from the Goonies.

They don't really make a good pair imo (the blocky robot compared to the roundly sculpted little guy). I do think this is a big improvement over their previous work.

Well I am glad to see that they have went a different route now. Still not my thing, but the execution on the 'Rotten Cop' is vastly improved. Definite thought put in, and more detail in the sculpting, proportionally and otherwise. Sometimes - most of the time - less is more, and while there is still a ways to go, I can see it getting there. The dog is a bit of an odd one, cool-looking but with the troll head I am not sure. I don't think the chain works very well though, and especially with that cheap accessory clasp it has. But I am not at all fussed by the robot and baby combo. They don't work together, and apart each has major flaws I think. The paint job I think is unfortunately not doing any favours for both either. Give it some bright multi-colour, and lose the connection, and it might work. But again, they need to simplify and tone it down I think.

Thanks for reply, neat name for the artist.

Actually title of one of my favorite films.

If you find more information about them please post it, would like to see other work by them but didn't find anything.

One of the most underrated and obscure
    Films in the Toho catalog:

Would be great to see a licensed doll of that Beast from VT. I doubt it would happen due to the cost involved tho.

After seeing the keshi sculpts and new packaging there is obviously lots of skill and talent involved

That show sounds like a lot of fun

Here is a view of one of the unpainted 'The Tower' figures that Violence Toys had at DCon. They also had a red and a white unpainted. I was immediately attracted to the blocky style of this huge guy. That's a mini Bobo figure for comparison.

So does the chained hand lock into place if you want or is it always loose, do you remember?

It looks like a fun figure. I skipped the recent glitter blue release because I wasn't feeling the color/sculpt combo, but I'm definitely looking forward to owning one eventually. I can just imagine it making all of these grinding, screeching sounds as the mechanisms inside move it towards its next victim.

Does anyone have a photo of the back of it? Thanks!
