Great haul @chimply.kaiju, I would not consider any of those junk toys. Rather I would say some of them are jewels and that Bandai Thunder mask is the proof of it. That King Mai Mai is a beauty, is one of my favorites colorways; I like how the metallic blue looks on the flesh color vinyl. Congrats!
'holds breath hoping that these are indeed all vintage'. Apologies for bad photo and if any of them don't belong in this thread please let me know,I want to find out as much about these toys as possible. As far as I can determine the Fireman is a bootleg and the rest are Bullmark (Ultraman Taro and Tiger 7) apart from the battered Popy Ultraseven guy, there seem to be two issues of him.
@doomboy , I question the age of your Ultra Seven, but don't know for sure. Isn't that a Bandai? There may be a year on the foot. Great group tho!
that was the one i was unsure of ,Mandarake has them listed as Popy ,the feet just have 'grip' pattern, the stamp is across the back/shoulders https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1038755418&ref=list the other 'reprint' version too https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1060520252&ref=list let me know if linking to the store is off limits and I will edit.
Edit: Nevermind . I missed the reply with the mandarake links. Derp. Glad you got it sorted, @doomboy.
@doomboy Good haul, you cant go wrong with Tigerseven, TAC and ZAT guys! The Fireman is indeed a bootleg
Thanks for the info. I was really lucky to see this lot sitting there on ebay listed in 'general action figures'.The lot came with a bunch of much newer plastic Ultraman mini figures,a real mystery as to why a load of cool old stuff ended up in there (and in the UK!). The Zat and Tak are in great condition and loads of fun, with lots of small details and great facial expressions. The Firemans head is so bulbous and off-key,with an awesomely shoddy paint job on his eyes. My fave has to be Tiger 7 ,his head is wonderfully rough in texture with nice brush strokes on his stripes.
Very nice Bat, @michael. Looks to be in pretty good shape overall. How's the back look? Please share with cape once made.
@Sanjeev - Great photos and a very lovely Hedorah. Such a unique and eye-catching toy, and a favorite forever. The toy that launched a thousand tributes... This is still my favorite shape to unpack for vintage mail day: Spoiler Marusan rakugaki ("paint-your-own") Gojira! Original SAN 1966 stamp on the left foot: It also has the six-segment "tail b" design (first version after the J-tail): I was not expecting to ever see find one of these, but 2017 continues to surprise me with the rare treasures. This beast seems to be from an early mold, and is the largest of all my vintage Marusan '66 gojira by a few mm -- even taller than the M1GO reissue. It smells very old, yet is in excellent condition overall. It is just wonderful to hold in hand. Very happy with this one.
@deafmetal great score Mark, I just can not stop looking at this blue Goji. Again, congratulations on this major score, I do not think it could be in a better home. @Sanjeev just a beautiful piece, best villain ever!

Holy cow, incredible finds coming in this thread! You guys have been picking up some real vintage treasure, so congratulations all around. @Johnny Black I don't even know where to begin, just killing it with those Marusans and Bullmarks, Love the OGs of course! And glad to see the Gekko Kamen and Ninja Arashi fella stay in a good family on the board. And argh, that Devilman bootleg too; man the wallet must be feeling really deep this month. @chimply.kaiju Well I have given you all my love for these toys individually, but that still doesn't prepare for me seeing them come. I am honestly just floored by the head changer, a true 'chaser' among the vintage vinyls, such a rare pleasure to see and I am thrilled you brought him home. Couldn't think of a better place for him to reside. But then, you have the audacity to post him alongside not one, not two, but three sheerly amazing toys, which would be easy grails for most folks. Really, really lovely stuff. As Chris knows, that Thundermask is something of dreams. And of course the blue/silver paint combo on flesh vinyl is a winning combo that will have me swooning every time, so K-M-M earns a tip of the mighty hat. And one final deep bow for snagging the giant Gomora, I think you went with the right decision in the end, and he will look so wonderful among your vintage toys. @doomboy Talk about some great hunting there! I envy you your ebay savvy, you picked up an incredible mixed lot there, and those are some really nice vintage examples. Particularly jealous of that Fireman bootleg you found, I need to pick up one of those pretty bad I think. @Sanjeev Just stop it already man. I am watching you! Really though, as Mark rightfully stated, there is a clear reason why this wonderful toy served as the inspiration for so many to come, still now decades later. Whomever thought this fella up at Bullmark deserves our utmost respect, especially for seeing the possibilities for him beyond his on-screen appearance. A very nice example of a classic, with excellent paint. Congrats! @deafmetal I had not at all expected to see one of the rakugaki paint-your-own Gojis here at all, so thank you so much for that surprise pleasure! What an amazing find Mark, dare I ask his backstory? You must have really been pulling out the Indy hunting skills to unearth such a toy. And the perfect home for him to find a permanent place in, if I do say so myself. Excellent mail day, and excited kid high fives!
@deafmetal - Mark, happy to see you finally have it in hand. Man that Goji is the crème de la crème score of the month. Drools. Also at everyone else, nice scores.
