    Congrats. Indeed it's huge. I love the paint on this one.
    FYI, there are 2 versions of this one. The second version is made out of soft almost squishy, soft vinyl. The paint is slightly different too.
    This is the 1st version.

    You have great taste in Bear Model. Its one of my fav BM's. I think it was also one of the last toys i bought from Grumble Toy.

    Indeed, i think the squishy one was the second and final release of this BM sculpt, so far.

    @Mr. Humphreys This guy is ugly and I love him. A mix between a beating heart and a red pepper with one eye and a pair of legs = PERFECT

    Another classic lesser-known BM there @Fedhai

    I love his big lumpy belly, it functions as a kind of TV screen in the movie.
    I'm pretty sure there are two colorways for this sculpt but they look very similar.

    So I picked up this lovely clunker on my latest visit to Toy Tokyo in NYC. I didn't see it on the header at first, but it wasn't until I unbagged him that I noticed the BM stamp on his hand-foot. This Mechanical Beast is Danchel, from the 70's Mazinger Z anime.

    I love how they decided to articulate just the one hand-foot:

    Nice @rattanicus

    Dragon Boy has done a few of these angular Mazinger sculpts with BM. I think yours is a more recent one.
    I absolutely love the colours on this one.
    Awesome score!

    Recent score, GID mechanical 'Nurse' dragon. I wasn't expecting the angled joints, which is a nice touch.
    Gives it more life in its stance. Please excuse the shitty filtered photo!

    @The Moog nice pickup, I have been contemplating nabbing one of these buggers.

    What is the length, around 10-11 inches I am guessing?

    @Michael Beverage
    Yeah, almost exactly 11 inches from nose to tail.

    @rattanicus
    Nice score! Is that the original color way or a custom? I think the one I have is more common, I don't see your version for sale very often.

    Yeah, but the original release shows the lovely texture more!

    I did a bit of digging on the BM Bretton / Bullton sculpt. It looks like @rattanicus has scored the second release.
    Must be fewer numbers on that one. Its definitely the rarer of the two.

    Check this blog out if you haven't seen it before. Its awesome.

    Lovely score Rei! That Bullton is really something. I have always wanted to add that hefty piece of plastic to my Ultra collection too. As a funny coincidence, I was just discussing the merits of this character (and toy) with Grace too, and I just had to pull up that same biological sectioning pictogram. Congrats on a great meteorb monster!

    Better images of my Nurse Dragon . . .
    I was always a little unsure of this toys spindly look. I'm glad i tracked one down because in person it's awesome.

    I was about to post how much I love my unpainted bulleton and lo and behold it's extensively covered here

    That's a fantastic one, Moog! And I think I have always had the same hesitancy with this figure. I think it probably stems from the old Bandai figure, who is quite feeble and spindly, as you said. This Bearmodel version though, wow, he looks like a stunner. I can definitely see how his chunkier torso and limbs are a vast improvement, and give this guy the 'heft' he deserves. Best photos I have seen of the toy yet, and now they're definitely getting me to consider the Nurse in a new light. Great subtle spray additions too. Very nice adoption.

    That is very kind of you, sir. I found an old FinePix Fuji camera my brother gave me years ago, which i can use until i finally get round to buying a new one. It had a zoom error problem, but i managed to fix it. I don't think its as good quality as my previous camera, but i haven't fully explored the settings yet. The memory card is 16MB. Almost laughable, but its better than nothing!

    I was puzzled when i first saw this one on YJA because it seemed to be lacking the red sprays ive usually seen on the GID version. I thought maybe it had just faded because it came unbagged and has obviously been displayed for some time, but now i'm thinking maybe the painter just omitted red for some reason . . .

    You're being far too hard on yourself there Moog, they really are gorgeous shots. I am almost embarrassed to redirect you towards my pics with my very dated camera, let alone post them here. :oops:

    Funny you mention that paint. I have seen a few variations like this in Bearmodel toys, and not really any clear explanation, as I don't think they are all different 'release' versions. As you said, it could just be different painters who were working on them, or them changing something somewhere along the way during production for whatever reason. Unfortunately, there is really no clear excellent source for Bearmodel toy history or coverage, something I know I have lamented on here before.
