Anyone who knows me knows I love amusements. I'm blessed to live on the east coast with a concentration of many classic and award winning Dark Rides, which are among my favorite things on earth! I am recently obsessed with this site/fundraiser called "The Dark Ride Project" which is using 360 VR Technology to capture the rides (before they are all gone!) If you dig this stuff like I do, chcek it out!

And for fun, here's a couple of pics of Dark Rides I've taken:

Zombie Castle looks familiar. Is that the one at Playland in Rye, NY?

Nice!! Haven't been to Playland in a couple of years. I know there's plans to have it renovated, so hopefully it'll be back and swinging soon. My company has some work there, so a few coworkers have been behind the scenes, so to speak.

The beach is great off-season too since it becomes dog-friendly, but that's OT.

So good! I love the outside aesthetics more than the actual rides themselves, from the few I've been on.

I've always thought that if I won the lottery and got mega rich I would build a combination dark ride / laser target shooting game in the basement of my castle.
