damn i missed out on those rad t-shirts. Lemme get a time machine and go back and get me an xxl. such a rad t-shirt.
Ordered a handful for my friends and I, they look great Glenn! Thanks for making them available for overseas fans.
Thanks @Beantime and anyone else on SB who may have picked up a shirt - i've taken this month off work without pay so the t-shirt sales helps me stay afloat with bills etc. They should be shipped out late next week!
Less than two weeks to go - heaps of preview pics to reveal in between now and the opening! View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram

I will wear my purple shirt with pride and tear up knowing that one of my toys will never travel to Australia... maybe. Who knows.
I'm sure SVM will be back in some way or another - just going to take a little break. In the first year Jason and I just wanted to introduce the toys to our town, maybe get some interest built up so that we could have more of a sofubi community to hang out with around town. We manged to acheive that and we decided to make it a week-long exhibit for SVM2. Things exploded and we got some amazing artists involved, word spread around Japan that SVM was a well-run show. When SVM3 came along, things grew even more and from preparing the artist list, inviting people, promoting the exhibit, renovating the gallery space, running the pop-up shop, organising sales after the event, paying artists, shipping out online orders etc. - the timespan of working on one exhibit pretty much ate up 10 months of the year. So for two guys with full-time jobs we have decided to put of SVM4 for a little bit.. and of course as mentioned above, there's just way too many sofubi exhibits around at the moment. We chose the September timeslot back in 2015 because it sat nicely in between Superfestivals and there weren't really any shows happening around then.. I think TAG had just stopped doing shows at that point? So we want to give the artists a break and a chance to do their own releases again rather than constantly producing for shows and events.
