@Michael Beverage It’s red and GID marble with black paint? Just an amazing piece, where you find it?
It was donated to the suicide prevention raffle by the man himself! Such a great addition to your collection @Michael Beverage And great print. I got the B/W one that was offered and still waiting on that one but I already have a nice spot for it on the kumon wall!
This is the "master" image for the prints I made in conjunction with Dennis. Big ups to @HardDragon for helping me out with a handful of Kumon to make this print actuality in diversity!
I am a good boy in my old age but I still can't help but look at this and think, "Did you get a tab of that kumon!?!"
Wha wha wee wha. Man so beautiful. Dennis just has a way with paint. Colors are on point. This pic is on point.
@Alebrije - Roger, that looks great all framed up, especially the webs in the corners fitting perfectly... real nice. Are you going to keep the toy sealed and uncut?
Thank you Mark, the frame really looked better than I expected. For now I will leave it uncut and in the bag, my initial intention was to put it in a clear plastic harness to display it in parts, but I have not bought the harness yet, somebody tell me that I can find it in the Bay. I just realized that in the part of the excess vinyl has small numbers marked on the vinyl, I imagine it is part of the mold to differentiate the pieces, it’s one of those smalls details that I found interesting. Imagine finding a vintage Marusan or Bullmark figure like this with the parts left out of the mold unpainted and uncut, we would have to sell a kidney to have something like that.
Well, this lottery result was the big surprise of my day. I don't think I've ever been more excited to hand someone my money.
Not sure if the Necomata jijyo has a separate thread. (Found it thanks to a fellow boardie) But this score was a bit personal and I am glad to adopt him to a permanent home with his 8 legged brothers.
The yellow kumon looks really nice. Something about yellow vinyl really shows the detail in the figure.
Particularly the blank vinyl is not one of my favorites and I usually prefer a good paint job, but as in many things there are exceptions. This would be one of those exceptions for me.
@Michael Beverage that's a beautiful shot! Can't wait for mine to arrive. Since we're all whipping 'em out today: there's nothing like a Shirahama marble
Considering how hard especially now a days it is to get a hold of one obtaining a Kumon is a blessing in itself. I think I have this color or one similar to it. Grats on the recent score!
