    Thanks for the great pics!

Oh my god more Ghosts & Goblins toys YESSS!
I have one of the G&G figure sets from Gargamel from many years ago and I've always been in love with it. A lot of that is of course because of nostalgia from my childhood though.

I'm unfamiliar with keshi terminology but they are a good head taller than the normal ones, and much beefier.

No, too large. I'll measure a normal S7 keshi and make a guess when I get home

Thanks for the extended coverage, man. Great to see S7 still going strong on all their 'modern' lines. Being sort of isolated from that market, I don't really have a good feel for how mainstream/successful these things have become, but all signs seem to suggest that nostalgia and quality design (unfortunately even the lack thereof on occasion) are equaling to a strong business. The bigger style keshi are actually something analogous to the original Japanese lines as well, so that is cool to see. For me, I am particularly excited for the soakies to finally be realised, and those Halloween candy pails are really neat too, would love to see these bigger though, in adult/dish out sizes. I have a feeling that the recent Mouse transition has spelled more difficulty for the team with respect to the SW license, which is unfortunate. Not that the well is even nearly dry with other great properties to explore (as this demonstrates).

That's true, but in fairness, I think Toyfair is geared squarely at the US/western market, which - much as we like to think otherwise - is all about massive production numbers, easily understood and consumed content, and generally part of large waves of corporate toy production strategies. Whereas our little niche is a tiny blade of grass residing on a continental field. But it did take 72 hours of painting to get that shade of green just right.

The exact opposite of what I'm interested in and a complete 180º from where S7 started!

Sometimes bigger is not always better! :?

It seems that this started a couple of years ago with The Great Garloo, but it's disappointing for me to see the reintroduction of digital sculpts for some of the Reaction figures. I guess it's necessary due to the volume of figures they are producing, but it was nice seeing things done the old Kenner way for at least a little while.

Honestly was hoping that growing the business would mean more money for sofubi passion projects, but it really just seems like their attention has been diverted.

Pretty much my feeling, but I also had a "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY" reaction when I saw the packaging for the Super Cyborg Cobra B.A.T.
