So now the important question is:
Of those who were fortunate enough to get a painted set, how will you use that shower curtain?

I'm hoping to see at least one pic of it hanging in a bathroom. Maybe used as a toga too.

 

Dude, there is no excessive in collecting. That is literally the point.

The set looked amazing. Especially the painted pieces. What bothers me about the rant, is that Rich has to deal with this with every toy release he does. More people want to buy his work than he makes. Causing more unhappy people than happy. And every time some collector feels personally insulted and goes on a rant. Who knows how many collectors fill up his email and dm's with angry rants. And I get how annoying it is that a lot of the same collectors win every time, but if an artist wants to reward loyalty then that's their business. I've been friends with skinner for nearly twenty years, he's hooked me up a few times. I'm sure Rich and other artists do the same. I've been collecting MVH for about five years. I've only won one lottery and zero shop drops. It sucks, but they are just toys. Toys I'm obsessed with, but can easily live without. When an artist gets more hate for their work than love, how long before they stop working? A constant barrage about how you suck because someone didn't get what they wanted takes its toll.

 

Any winners want to sell their cat mask to me? Preferably painted

Also I go to Jiu Jitsu about 4 times a week, leave any stress on the mat.

In summary, it's hard out there for us passionate grown man baby doll collectors. First world problems and all....

Congrats to the wieners. Twas a beautiful couple of sets. To the folks that didn't score, there will be another day, another toy.

 

The strongest collector will be whoever uses their shower curtain as an actual shower curtain first.

All good advice. I don't know, I can't apologize now, but I feel bad too. You try to express an unpopular view on SB and you have to fight, and then this happens. I should have just stuck with my first post.

It's the one year anniversary of my last identical freak out. We had just lost Amy and it's all still there. I have found myself picking fights with everyone/anyone this whole week. I just don't care if I ruin myself. It's not good. I had been taking meditation classes and have missed a few, I used to leave my stress on the mat as well. Also I'm a Special Education teacher. I have to watch it this time of year. The stress builds and leaks into other areas of my life. What i cant say to the kids I may say to someone else. Anyways my mental health issues are not SBs problem. Rich, I should have just kept my fucking mouth shut. But I'm shitty me.

I didn't get one of the new releases ether but I'm ok with it since I was at work. And work comes before toys anyways.

But any new person that was able to score one yesterday I'm happy for especially if they are just an honest true new collector of his work. Each piece is special! Besides I managed to acquire the skullbrain yellow one that came out last year via Blurbleone I think it was.

 

Yeah, I thought I hit but got refunded in the end. No fun in the moment but at the end of the day I'm just better set-up for DV in May now always something great around the corner.
