Wow, insane prices. Love my Mad Barons and wouldn't sell them for cash. But If anyone is willing to give me 1,500 flurbos so I can go to Blips and Chitz and play Roy I may consider it. Wubba lubba dub dub!

It took close to ten years, but I finally scored one of the Exohead 1-off Maza's! With the prices skyrocketing on Zollmen stuff I can't believe I won this for $50 over the original retail price!

Yeah I see nothing on the blog. Maybe it's a convention only ,private piece, or a much older more obscure run?

Really awesome, Ben! Those 'I-thought-I'd-never-score-THIS!' moments are some of the best parts of collecting sofubi.

It's always interesting to see the market shift—when did it happen with Zollmen? It seems to me that the dramatic turn in value coincided with the Zollbots collaborations with Longneck and their higher retail prices, no?

Yeah I can’t believe the prices of Zollmen toys! I knew something was weird when I kept getting asked to sell my Mad Barons on IG. Sorry nu jacks you weren’t around when they came out but all my Zollmen is off limits.

Zollmen blew up and I definitely feel like it was in correlation with the longneck collab. I hope it can do the same thing for Awesome Toy

And Yes! These IZU’s are absolute fire! Really breathing new life into these sculpts

Is he ever going to release anything on a regular basis anymore? No word from his blog since 2015.

No chance. Awesome Toy is no where near on the same level as Zollmen.

I think they have equal merit but my thing is you can't even compare the two since the styles are going for completely different areas. So I'm not even sure why Awesome toys was brought up into this lol.

I mentioned Awesome Toys because of the recent collab with Yoda/Longneck. Would be nice to see them get a little extra recognition

The Mad Baron is great! I was hoping the collaboration would be a run of toys offered through a lottery.

I would have loved if they did an open order Draki, I always wished I could get my hands on the original blue release.
Zollmen undoubtedly one of all time best toy lines.

I love all the details on this toy; it's really unlike anything I've owned before. More photos under the cut.

    @zindabad

Congrats on the green Maza, cool photos too. I own that green one and i absolutely love it. It was easier to find at the time because i think it was an open pre-order, but that doesn't make it any less awesome. Its one of my favourite colours so its perfect in my eyes.

I like this “Mother Nature” version so much because not only are the colors pleasant but it’s the colorway that best fits what I think the origin story might be. Or maybe it’s the actual background, I can’t recall.

Either way, the story as it goes in my head - An alien spaceship with sentient A.I. technology crashes to Earth, down into a swamp with heavy vegetation. After being stuck and stranded for many years without power, the natural world begins to engulf the craft. The kudzu winds its way deeper and deeper into the ship , eventually coming into contact with the power core. When this happens, an electromagnetic pulse is emitted and there begins the spark of the symbiotic relationship between the Mothership and Mother Nature , giving birth to Maza. By harnessing pure green energy and now experiencing rapid growth, Maza is one hell of an adversary.

Thanks for picking up that Maza when I needed the help, @zindabad . If you ever decide to sell him, please get in touch : )
