    Gunhead by Toygraph!

These are very elusive, there are half bodies on the space trooper saucers also which are a little more common..

So elusive that @useless toys seriously considered buying the mold so that he could have one made for himself...not that the mold was readily available or anything

Yeah this fucking sucks. Not to get into the customizing debate but WTF...this is super shitty by both the person who commissioned this and by Mark, who I thought had a love/respect for vintage. How many of these are/were even out there?

Let's not get too upset, these so called 'customs' are everywhere. Joining Facebook was an eye opener in that regard, holey moley ive seen some utter bollocks. But they keep selling, so its not gonna stop, even with the price gouging.

And for 100℅ clarity, i cannot guarantee that picture is a Nagata custom. Sure, i did a few searches, but i didnt confirm all of them. It certainly looks like one of his paint jobs, and he's the kinda high profile collector/maker with access to a lot of awesome rare toys he could paint, just for kicks.

The Toygraph Gunhead is by Dead Presidents aka Matt Walker. This was discussed in a Toygraph thread on this board.

Apparently it was a production run and not a one-off. He probably was given blanks by Toygraph to produce his own run.

So, not a custom and not a 'ruined' rare toy. Please power down the outrage machines.

So its just a ruined toy, not a ruined rare toy. Gotcha. Custom or run, it still looks like it was painted by a five year old ;)

I had to unfollow Izumo on IG after all the recent Nazi toys. The guy's talented, he's just making some really shit choices as far as what he's getting made these days.

Izu was talking down to someone for criticizing his use of a swastika on a toy, stating that it is the Buddhist swastika and to respect his heritage. That I understood. This is uninspired garbage. He comes off as a hypocrite and supporter of fascism and racism.

People will defend it as "edgy" or "art." It's not, it is at best juvenile shock, at worst allegiance to the deepest filth humanity has to offer.

If we're looking at the same toy, it is indeed the Buddhist swastika. It's presented square and not at a diagonal, and it faces the opposite way to the Nazi Hakenkreuz. I'm talking about the toy teased on his public account though; are there others?

Edit: that said, I would call the teaser's focus on the swastika belt an attempt at edge, yeah.

Why the fuck would you want to spend money on that ($20 would even be too much) and display it on your shelf? There are hundreds of other far more creative and enjoyable sofubi toys out there - I would even take a PlanetXAsia toy over this shit

It's funny, I just saw one of these for sale and thought "I bet that was made by the STOMAK guy." I have to say that I think that he has a distinct style, and that I like this better than Mister Stomach Ache.

That’s how I feel about all of the lame Trump toys... Even if it is representing him in a negative light, why on earth would you want a toy of someone/thing you hate so much?

Toys are my happy place I don’t want anything in my collection that bums me out invading my personal space.

Defending this shit by saying "Bububut it's the BUDDHIST swastika!!!11!" is akin to R. Kelly claiming that's not him in the video. So why is it being used in very specific contexts then (like say, Hitler's fucking forehead)?? I wouldn't bat an eye if Mirock had an actual Buddhist swastika on one of his toys, and gave a pass to (Japanese) makers using this exact same imagery a couple of years back, but anyone who continues trying to capitalize on the shock value while simultaneously claiming it's Buddhist in these current times can fuck off and die for all I care. And yeah, it's pretty ugly, too.

Retroband did a cheap resin Trump toy and all the proceeds went to a charity you picked that fought against the Trump agenda.

If you're gonna do a political toy, it shouldn't be to just line your wallet.

This is why I refuse to buy any darth Vader or stormtrooper toys. Empire commits mass genocide but still gets toys made of them, and heroified. smh.

Hitler toys should be properly inserted into the creator’s anus for maximum discomfort.
