That's a shelf hog, but what a beautiful hog. Lovely sprays, awesome colorway. Congrats!

Amazing mail day, It's always exciting when a new spider comes home to join the rest of his sisters, now to get this sleeping beauty out of her plastic sarcophagus.

One of my least favourite kaiju Titanosaurus elevated by a great sculpt and paint job courtesy of M1Go with a little Gorgos to boot because, why not?

I love that the red release came with a little MG and the first MG release came with a wee Titano. Because omake!

I heart that Gorgos. Mine's blue.

    EDIT: Stoopit, stoopit typos!

That alternating omake deal is rad. Would be awesome to see that side by side. Good to read others have love for Gorgo! A cool little dude indeed.

I have a particular fondness for Gorgos (even though I mistyped his name earlier). He's gotten some, but not a lot of soft vinyl love ---
Marmit's PB of him is plenty cute, it will surprise no one that I adore Buta's take, and M1Go's standard size variation is especially charming.

Am I forgetting anything? X-Plus and/or Bandai gachas don't count. I mean, they do, but the question is about softies.

I'll try to grant your wish, sir, but I'm ashamed to admit that most of my family of Yujimades are in bins, presently. This is a nice excuse to give them some fresh air!

It’s always hard for me to remember because his actual Japanese name is Gorugosu. Might just stick with that in the future.

Yes, free your toys from their prison. It’s photo time!

Caught a rare good deal on eBay, so we're now up to two sumo. These guys are so satisfying to hold for the size that one day I want to work up to a couple of handfuls ;)

These are tiny. I really like some of the collabs but the prices have been ridiculous.

Yeah, they're pretty small even for the retail price. I believe in Japan they go as low as $5 from Mori (someone correct me if I'm wrong), which is great, but at Five Points I paid $30 for the Skull Toys sumo direct from them. The other guy showed up on eBay for $30 as well, so I was happy enough paying the same as a US con. Still, that's about the upper limit of what I'm happy to pay for one.

Pretty sure they are 10, 15 at the most at his store. They are that price when they fly out to shows since they have to make some money to make it worth the trip. Especially if they had to ship all the toys.

For sure, I understand the higher price and still think it's reasonable. I do mean that I'm still actively happy to buy at $30. But I think the next listing for one of those was $60, and past that point we go increasingly off the rails.

60 is reasonable to me. But when it's north of 300..that blows my mind.

Total accident as I didn't expect three packages to come in one evening. When it rains, it pours

@bryce_r he was my unexpected hero of the bunch! I didn't know if Dehara was for me, but I'm absolutely feeling it now. Big shout out to the board member who not only listed him at a great price, but kept a 12-year-old toy in excellent condition all this time. Lots of warm fuzzies to the folks who helped me out at G-fest as well. The hobby makes me so happy when we look out for each other, and I'll be sure to pay the same both forward and back.
