has anyone figured out what the actual issue was with the delays? or if refunds were issued? ive only purchased one koningu directly from him and it got to my house within two or three weeks. i love the toy and would love to buy more from the source but it seems tough currently
I’m just reading this now and I felt the same way until the lunar new year kong. I had not had any issue in years of supporting him. But he reached out the last time he was around and said in A DM that he sent out my lunar new year king with a gift. This was in November 2018 almost 11 months after the lunar new year. I had waited about 2 months knowing that perhaps it got stuck in customs. He replied to me when I asked for an update and said that it had come back to him because he put the wrong address on it. He told me then he would get it out within A week but has since disappeared again I have emailed. dM and tried every way to get ahold of him. I have yet to receive the lunar new year long and I have stopped supporting his work all together. Not sure if it’s a personal issue or what but it sucks because I really loved the kong and was really looking forward to his Mecca version.
Just a heads up, today i’ve received my order from his last round of blank sales, and so far he has fulfilled all of my orders albeit some taking way too long
This is my issue with all of this. It’s u professional it’s bad communication and it’s in consistent. I don’t understand why people keep supporting this and thinking its going to be different.
Maybe they do know and still put up with the bs. Toy nerds are a special kind of masochistic. It’s like the longer we wait the better the grail gets Btw, I don’t collect this maker, but I do love the sculpt
Just want to go on record here and say that I have finally received my Lunar new year Kong along with a plethora of extras. Idk if he is secretly reading here or if this was just a coinky dink? But I am super happy with the kong I got. I will be Leary of future purchases but I guess the ol’ patience is more than a virtue. If you are reading Mikko. Thank you for filling your end of this transaction. Hope you can get it together going further.
