Maybe this should be a test for newbies signing up for the board. Just show them a Bemon and ask for a short essay explaining its significance.

And some of the others aspire to that level of non-qualification.

If these are gifts, can I please return them? I won't even ask for a refund, just hope to never have any recollection that I even saw them.

Within 24 hours of this pink unpainted Nag rip-off being shared here on the Fugly thread, the instagram page is deleted. Coincidence? ;) :D

Sorry, there is no gift receipt, so you can only do an exchange.

If you want, you can trade in your rotting two-headed two-penised gorilla for a rotting Kewpie with swastikas on its chest. So many options to choose from.

Holy smokes! I can't believe that he deleted his page. In the middle of the lottery sale?!

Ok, to follow up on this, I did some quick digging...

The account is still there but the lottery has "disappeared"

    Here is the seller's Instagram:
    https://www.instagram.com/yinyangroad/

And here's a local version of the lottery post, for the archives!

Don't sweat; I posted a Kougai paint off YJA a few pages back and I still think it looks nasty. Fat strokes of flat red, green and purple all over it, genuinely assumed it was a custom inflated by hype. It is in fact a genuine Bemon paint, a Muppet homage, whose crudeness I can appreciate but not for the $550 it sold for. So it goes.

    @Madmax405
Thanks for reposting the image. I would imagine the maker decided $166 wasn't enough for that big lump of half-chewed bubble gum and will change it to $266, so the hype junkies feel its more 'exclusive' or whatever.

Judging it by current trends this toy is underachieving. Why not also put a face on its belly and arse? Fuck it, give it a big dong and put a face on that too.

Can we rename this thread to "everything @The Moog hates" instead?

Ha! As previously stated, I don't hate any of these toys and i didn't start this thread. I post these expensive lumps of plastic for my own entertainment, and as far as I can tell, the majority of people viewing them take it as goofing around, like I assume the thread was intended for.

Just because I post the most doesn't mean its my thread. Perhaps i'm more vocally critical than most, sure. But everyone is entitled to disagree, or perhaps look the other way. Nobody is required to view it.

I don't 'hate' toys, I'm 'critical' of them. Big difference!

The shame of this one is it actually has a nice style and execution to it. Just needed a fair amount of critical editing and a fresh idea. What's with the nag armband? Is everyone that enamored with nag still or are they just hoping to strike it rich if they evoke that "toy" enough?

    Consider me entertained too! :D

Wandering through Mandarake's old stock is the extent of my 'searching' these days and I appreciate your dedication/stamina/strong stomach.

. . . and this in a 'scene' that some think is positively thriving . . . puhleeeeeze!

Fugly toys - the Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the fugliest toys you have seen while collecting thread. Its continuing mission: to explore the internet, to seek out atrocities in indie toy making, to boldly go (whilst trying not to puke) where no thread about toys has gone before.

Number one, I order you to take a Number two.

We had some of these PLTs sent to us for SVM2 way back in 2015 or whatever.. they felt like plaster. Hard, lifeless vinyl that felt like office chair plastic.. these toys were a big contributor to my aversion to chinese vinyl.
