It's Obitsu Plastic Manufacturing Co. Ltd, apparently. I think that fan logo is/was used by various companies, with the letter inside denoting the initial of the company name (sorry if I'm stating the obvious)
That second one looks like Japan not Taiwan to me!

I dunno - i thought the first letter looked more like a T and the A has an I after it, plus going on the spacing of the 'MADE IN' the next word seems too widely spaced to be 'Japan'. BUT its very hard to see so maybe you're right.

I think the only person who can confirm what it is either way is @rattanicus and a magnifying glass!

Ah, you're right, does look like there's an I. Looking at the whole thing it looks more like a distorted JAPAN to me, though... Maybe they changed Japan into Taiwan with a scalpel

Yeah, weird that it's scratched so badly right where that word is... Upon closer inspection, my vote goes to "Taiwan".

Soft vinyl vintage Topo Gigio, which i thought was going to be smaller than the other one i already have by the same maker. I was more than happy he is bigger (8" high). Occasionally these pop up for a reasonable price compared to what they usually go for, and i swoop-down like a hawk.

    Made in Italy.

Stumbled across this Racer-Rabbit whilst looking for Toygraph Racers. He appears to be vintage and @spacemonkey66 has given me the heads-up that he thinks it might be the mascot of SS Pharmaceutical. The car has a late 60's/70's style; so if anyone has any info, it would be great to hear:

Dunno mate, but i searched under SSP Pyon-chan/Car and a bunch of them came up. It looks like it was possibly only made in green like yours. One seller said 'Showa' period which is between 1926 - 1989.

    Found this: https://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/240223/blog/12405387/

Google translate isn't great but the text reads:

    "Pyeong-chan race car,

    Well, I'm Pyeong-chan from SSP,

The first appearance of this Pyeong-chan was surprisingly old, it was in 1955,

At that time, it was a normal rabbit carved in wood,

After that, the alternatives have been repeated several times, and recently, a much more cute Pyeong-chan has appeared,

By the way, this time is the “Pyeong-chan racing car”,

It is probably a product from around 1975, and it is a kind of promotional product distributed at pharmacies. The size is about 13 Santi, a plastic body, and a soft vinyl Pyon head.

The familiar "Pyon-chan mark" is engraved on the front of the vehicle. The tires are made of rubber, but have no power.

The details of the racer w have been uploaded separately here, but it looks like the 7th generation Pyon-chan

Pink Pyeong-chan is in a good mood

    So, today I'm a babysitter w

    Well, let's do our best

    Dede,"

1975 would tie in with the style of the car. Condition on this one is decent but I wouldn't be surprised if it was 1970s from the overall quality of the piece.

Vintage fire hazard, sorry - Night Light.
I'm guessing 1960's. Made by Combex Creations.

Thanks, its one of the last Combex night lights I've been looking for. Also, im fairly sure that's Mr. Jinx in the TV, but why they painted him grey i dont know. He's supposed to be bright orange!

That's a good call, I never thought of that. I have a few 'Boss Cat' books in my collection, where his name was changed in the UK for a time.

But the bow-tie is a big giveaway, Mr. Jinx wears a bow tie. The gang in Top Cat are more of a hipster type bunch, their ties are longer and more casual.

I forgot i hadn't took photos of this one. Combex Creations Night Light.
Bugs is pointing where the on/off switch used to be. Again, probably 1960's/70's.

This post is dedicated to my biggest fan @monkeyspank - I know how he very much loves every single thing i post on SB.

Combex Creations vintage squeakers. These are very rare compared to many other Combex toys, so i was glad nobody bid against me.
The style is a little more 'cartoony' compared to most other Combex. They are about 11" high.

Lone Star 'Eaglet' series vintage squeaker. Cost me a quid if i remember correctly. Most of the Eaglet series is about half the size, some reason this one is 10" high. The vinyl on one of his arms is way too thin in the middle, maybe they didn't do many large ones because of production issues?

Some others from the Eaglet series, but around 5" high:

You know when you're vacuuming and a mouse-head bursts through the dust bag? C'mon, we've all been there ...

Vintage squeaker. Made in Ireland. 7" high.
