Not that I am aware of, might've meant the GID version (which can look a little yellowish, depending).
One of these sold on EBay for like 60 bucks about 6 months ago and I was too broke to buy it. Then one sold for 125 ish a couple of weeks ago.
I don't think that version was sold unpainted though, just for @jetJagger 's info, but I could be mistaken. But yeah I agree, this was a great base.
No, no, you are absolutely right @Temporal Marauder, I was just clarifying for @jetJagger because I think he misread the successive posts as suggesting that. Didn't want him to go to the ends of the earth hunting something which is likely not out there.
The yellow vinyl with green sprays was a Medicom Godzilla Vinyl Wars release. I believe it was distributed in the US by Diamond, which is why some of them are found on the cheap even lately.
Amazon used to have tons of the medicom releases. I bought this off amazon for probably 90. Along with several other M1 and Marmit gojis.
I missed the boat!! Someday I’ll find it at a reasonable price. Then again maybe not. People really respond positively to this sculpt.
ahh, man. Wish I had that luck! vinyl wars is a line that has given me many a joy over the years. Especially for M1 releases
Whaaaaa...? I would never-- [flashes back to 2010 when he began his decade-long hunt for the true clear M1 Jet Jaguar lottery figure from WonderFest 2010, pursuing it like a crazed and unrelenting beast until it was, finally, amazingly acquired a few months ago even though deep down he'd become convinced that it was a sparkly-clear magical unicorn that only existed in his dreams] That's just crazy talk. Who goes to the ends of the earth hunting a for a toy...?
@djkemp Have to agree with Rei on this one, just a wonderful set. Each time I see it I can't help but smile. @skaldavsatanssol Lovely big hugs of Yujimade vinyl; gorgeous colouring and texturing.
This Gorgo set showed up after 3 weeks of being lost in the mail, I was starting to give up hope. Beautiful paint as only Yuji can deliver.
Well shoot, that is an eye-popping Gorgo, Joe. I just love the silver and blue, they work wonders - especially under the incredibly skilled hand of Yuji-san - on that GID vinyl. What a beauty! I am glad that he finally arrived for you safely.
