According to the IG-post it's a Korean bootleg of Chun-Li from Street Fighter/Street Fighter II

Same here, I could easily see myself assembling a global battling team from this crew if I could.

Retro World Korea says he thinks there’s a whole set of these out there, somewhere. I believe the roster is printed on the back of the box, but it’s official artwork, not product photos.

I know as soon as I post this, that it is going to appeal to a certain group of 'toy collectors' out there. And that's fine, too. But I just don't even get it; there's just so much going on here, all of which earns a bold question mark from me. Extra point deductions for combining two aspects of lacking creativity. Anyways 'enjoy.'

He had a very brief mention on a random thread, but yeah, this maker 'Noisecret' is one for the list here in my books.

    Now that's a start. :?

Oh man, I love Mutant knock off Hardcore. Especially when the paint apps are pop culture references.
Im just upset there isnt a Mickey Mouse one or a Simpsons one on there.

I can see it appealing to many markets . . .
People with way too much money (Gotta catch 'em all!)
    The blind (It feels great!).
Collectors with no taste (Of which there seems to be many).
His Mom (One for the fridge door).
    Manufacturers of raw vinyl (Ker-chinnng).
Recycling plants (Gotta keep those numbers up!).

Gero by slavexone remains one of the ugliest toys ever made in my book. I had forgotten about it until I was browsing ebay the other night and saw these:

Didn’t some shit go down with Slavexone years ago? I remember something, but can’t remember what.

But I agree, it really is one of the ugliest sculpts I’ve seen during my time collecting. It’s even worse than the busy bullshit coming out now, I mean... it’s such a simple sculpt, how can it be this hideous?! I think what kills me the most are those feet. They’re lazy feet. They’re the feet you make when you don’t know how to sculpt feet.

he was caught flipping, trying to hid under the Los Angeles blanket was where ebay said it was shipping from but really LA (Louisiana) called out, and blamed it on the flooding in New Orleans why he was flipping. yet during the floods he was still buying big dollar items, because ya know, they flip for more if you score at retail. tarnished the slavexone name, so that profile went dead, but I'm sure he's back under a new one. as toys of the newer sculpt or head for that body had came out since.

Crazy shit. I definitely remember his account going down.
New heads? I mean, almost anything is better than the original head, but the base is still fugly. Guess he’s somewhere out there...

it was weird how i linked it all together, but the ebay name i think linked to a twitter which was his wifes, which sculpted the gero if i recall, maybe a step or 2 more in that detective work, but when it was put out in the open., he couldnt deny it and just went to defense mode.
.. I personally did actively bid on the one Rich painted for a Dcon event. it showed up on YJA a year or 2 ago, and it was rather cheap, but I was trying to snipe it and not have a bid war on a sculpt that is pretty bad itself. want to say it was a one off too.

I got to be honest. I really didn't have anything against the Gero toy personally (flipping aside), but seeing the 'accessories' on this one you posted makes me reconsider ever giving any support to the SlavexOne brand, completely aside from whatever the toys might be.

I like how Airbrushes are being re marketed. It's more accurate.

    Here we go

I personally love the tree arm and a few other touches, but Izu's general styling for facial features and limbs + the lumpy shapes don't work for me. Not the fugliest I've seen, but I thought this might draw some interesting opinions

Getting a Picasso vibe off the face and torso. The lower body looks like an afterthought.
