@a.tom Sadly, it does seem that way. Can't say I'm surprised when Robert Downey Jr. bought the option for an O.G. episode awhile ago. I'd like to see a return to form. Especially, the unexpected Twilight Zone-esque endings that we've gravitated to since the very first season.
This. Vipers & Smithereens: wasn't impressed with either (aside from Moriarty's acting). The latter was suspenseful, but the "story" was little more than a sermon about the addictive nature of social media. Ashley Too: slight improvement only because the tech felt reminiscent of the the show's earlier/better years. No trademark twists or bleak endings to be found in the bunch. 2 (one could argue all) of the 3 ended on an up-beat note... seems Brooker is losing his touch or the creative juices have run dry.
From smithereens I began to wonder why people , or are they, aren't sueing phone manufacturers for wrongful death when car accidents happen from cell use.
