read that it probably came from one of those secret laboratories that are located in the easter u.s. somewhere
in reality I'm assuming it's a hoax. Up there along the lines of big foot, the yeti, chupacabra and/or vhs monster.
said to be a viral marketing plan for an uncoming kids cartoon about cryptozoology.....i dont believe that one bit Google Plum Island ( where this MAY have come from ) lots of odd stuff at that place
also block island - thats where the 30+ foot sea serpent in the above pic was suppost to come from. I would vote for turtle w/o shell, but I dont think turtles work that way.
I was going to say... it doesn't look quite right. The head looks too... smooth, like it was airbrushed.
I want one... I'd feed raw meat every day and fill his dish with blood every night. We'd go for walkies in the cemetery and I'd fall asleep every night listening to his blood-curdling howl. I think I'd name him Chumbly.
Please breed Chumbly w/ something larger… like a horsey or elephant if you can get your hands on one, and send a wammy (baby) to me.
this definately looks like the head of a basking skark, that has come free from the spine, something that usually happens with that species, notice the gills slits. minke whale skull and spine, looks pretty fresh, as if it was purposely defleshed as for our little buddy the montauk monster, i too think it is a dog that has been in the water for a while, the nails on the front paws look too much like over grown dog claws to me. though i must admitt my first thought was capibara, that would a little strange considering where it washed up. i heard something about the local officals thinking it was a racoon, which is also a possiblity. but i seriously don't see any evidence of photoshop. fun little mystery this guy, i love it. i am such a crypto nerd! everyone can look to cryptomundo for updates, maine's very own, mr. coleman http://www.cryptomundo.com
