Just wanted to show something that I've been screwing around with. Obviously, this is a shark wrestler toy mashup with a little bit of sculpting help. The concept is heavily indebted to the recent work of my friends, Steve Seeley and Giant Japanese Monster, Bad!. Still not quite sure where this dude is headed. I think it would be cool if, when finished, this design could be reproduced in a more rubbery sort of material. Like MUSCLES or the 80's LJN WWF guys. Again, I'm not nearly finished. Just wanted to share what I have.
Mixing Animals with wrestlers is a win in my book! It might have been done a few times but I like where this shark-wrestler is going!
Thanks! Yeah. It's not an original concept in any way shape or form. Something many of my fav artists have been doing for years. He is probably going to have a laser axe hand. So that's sort a bit more of an original twist.
This ones gonna be great! The beefy body makes sense with the head and there will be so much you can do with the paint. HURRY UP! I can't wait to see this one.
i love it, i'm working on a similar project using dino head and motu body Tomorrow i post some photos, on SB there are a lot of Motu Bootleg project why dont do a show about this? great work man
Thanks! I can't wait to see what you've got. Sounds awesome! I'd totally be up for doing some sort of group show with all of the guys who make 5.5" figures. That would be amazing!
