    Sid Haig :'(
It has been a tough week already for people leaving us. While many might predominantly know him through his more recent big-screen resurgence, specifically in the horror/cult genre film scene, I will forever associate him with A-Team (and other small - but very memorable - TV roles in things like Batman and Star Trek). He was a great actor, definitely passionate and enthusiastic, and even with his imposing 6' 4" presence, lended a strong range to whatever he played. Other notable television appearances included Mission Impossible, Charlie's Angels, MacGyver, and cult hits like Jason of Star Command, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and Automan. His film roles included Spider Baby, THX 1138, Black Mama White Mama, Coffy, and Foxy Brown. He came back to the big screen via Jackie Brown, but really gained attention after appearing as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses. While perennially cast as a baddie, I like to think this typecasting didn't bother him, as he really embraced his characters and delivered on some memorable scenes. Hence, precisely why I can still think of him in just those key roles, even if it only amounted to only a few minutes of screentime.

Rest in peace to the man, and thanks for all those characters you made real.
