Re: Toy Event listing - JULY IS MASSIVE TOY TIME! I would love to be able to go, but I am busy with summer courses. I think it's going to be an amazing show, and I am super humbled to be asked into a show alongside some serious talent.

Re: Toy Event listing - The End is Nigh! hope there'll be good events in Tokyo mid December till Christmas
Re: Toy Event listing - The End is Nigh! 'The End is Nigh'... It saddens me so much that one of the BEST sofubi event dearest to me seems to be coming to an end. This event is none other than the legendary Pachi Summit. The coming PS maybe its last. For folks who have been able to attend PS in person, this event is the highlight for any j-vinyl collectors. The venue is a classic, literally underground. The early ps are legendary. Gargamel, RxH, AA, Cronic, etc etc started there. I think for the older members here, most of the folks would remember the excitement anticipating what RxH, Cronic etc would be releasing and troll yja later. On hindsight, although it somewhat became a flipper paradise, ps really contributed a lot of fun days. I will surely miss the lotteries, the sales after the event, the people, the food, the venue, the talks, the audience, the fans, the negotiations, the scramble, everything about it...
Re: Toy Event listing - The End is Nigh! Saddening news. Especially since from what I can understand PS is much more up my alley than SF - just a lot of toy fans chilling, drinking beers, talking toys, and hearing/previewing all the upcoming sofubi releases. Not that SF is not also great, but it is mainly about the salesroom there. I can't believe I had to pass on the last Patchi Summit, and now it might never come again. I don't know how we can offer out support to organisers to encourage them to keep maintaining it, but if someone has an idea there is any way, please let me and the rest of the board know.
Re: Toy Event listing - The End is Nigh! I have another thread about this going already, but figured I should post here too... don't mean to spam, let me know if this feels like overkill!
Re: Toy Event listing - The End is Nigh! first quarter 2012 January 7th through 28th, 2012 Blamo Solo Show February 3rd -14th and 17th-29th The Fort and Velocitron/Grody Shogun March 3rd through the 14th Paul Kaiju One Man Show
Re: Toy Event listing - The End is Nigh! Really sad... I wasn't able to make the train trip to Tokyo... alas - no spare funds, and with Sufes coming up I couldn't justify 2 trips to Tokyo this month I was happy to contribute to the lottery though, and I hope those who did go were psyched on all that free stuff that people put up for grabs! That alone makes this event one to be missed... all those awesome free sofubi treasures! RIP Pachi Summit...
Re: Toy Event listing - The End is Nigh! Any news about any shows happening this spring? Is i too early to tell? I'm looking specifically in May, as I'm finally taking my vacation to Japan!
