I have been trying to contact the maker/company for a while now with no success. Been in love with these guys since I first saw them way back at SF 57, when they were NFS. Since then, not much is out there and the blogs I know of aren't updated. If anyone has any info, or someone in Japan can provide me with a connect, that would be great!
I really like these. The two in the bottom pic are fantastic. I love how the guy on the left resembles a two headed Kemur Seijin, and the fellow on the right looks like a Hedorah that's been split down the middle.
Wow, these are cool (except for the snake figure). The packaging initially led me to believe these were Iluilu (though not)
I am not saying there is, but there could be some collaboration (purely speculative on my part, based on location). As you said, there are some similarities. Some of these are going to be available at the Osaka Vinyl Expo - what a time to not be there.
Similar to the Ilu Ilu stuff. I will see if I have a pic somewhere in my 'files.' Not sure if this helps:
Thanks Steve!! That does give a better idea. 'bout 5 inches tall maybe. Loving Geboo's snake hand. Wishful, but not holding my breath to own some of these guys.
The homage is most definitely there, and I love it, glad someone else noticed! Sweet gif, and love that anatomical figure too. Sometimes you can find the best stuff for a dollar.
I saw some of these a while back, always wondered what their name was or where they were from. thanks for the blogs and info!
That Geeyo is very nice, I would like one of those. But it feels like it's going to be 4 or 5 inches, and I'm not willing to spend 150 through an agent to try it.
Really excited with this. I'd think Ilu Ilu had a hand in these. The look and feel and especially the packaging and height of the figures 130mm which is almost identical. This looks to be the header for the Geeyo and Geboo release. Love the mask rider feel of the figures and the Bullmark logo homage.
Love them all, definitely catching that iluilu vibe from these. Hopefully we can get a shot at these without too much difficulty outside of japan.
