    It looks more Amanda Visell to me, but I have to say, I stil like it. It's huge. And it looks like wood, actually it was made in wood first. Has tons of articulation points. And it's a bat.

    i don't think it's a shameless rip off. the figure does share similarities to steven the bat, and even style to visell. but more so, it's in line with gary ham's own work as an artist. it started off as a series of 3 large hand-made, hand-painted wooden sculptures - i sold one through red hot robot, and it definitely had it's own feel and presence - as does the vinyl version

    These pieces are usually sold at the Con right across from (or is it one aisle over?) Bwana's booth and I have never thought it reminded me of Steven The Bat or even Amanda's work. Gary Ham's work is pretty Gary Ham-ish.

    He's definitely seen a steven/visell wood piece (maybe even at the con) but this is a loose interpretation at best.
