OK, so its the obligatory eulogy thread and its a few days late . . . but i dont care. Very sad for UK comedy fans, only a few months after Victoria Wood passed away. Caroline Mary Aherne (24 December 1963 – 2 July 2016) was an English comedian and BAFTA winning writer and actress, best known for performing as the acerbic chat show host Mrs Merton, roles in the The Fast Show, and as lead in the The Royle Family, a show that she co-wrote.
I really felt sad about this one, a local lass going this way is always shitty. Christmas won't be the same without the Royle Family.
