I feel kind of bad talking about anything besides the situation in japan but my dad needs some help with his computer. I am trying to install an antivirus program and it says to remove some old copy of norton, which I believe came on the computer when new. The problem I'm having is I cannot seem to find the norton program anywhere. I've searched the drive and I don't see it in the remove programs option. Isn't there a way to search the root or something or if you have any other suggestions Please let me know...

If you still need help the next best thing is to search the registry for norton and delete all entries (assuming there is nothing else norton on your computer that you need) - I can provide more detail if needed.
