Cryptic sofubi: Shub Zeroth ? ? ?

The "muddy metallic" has the most bizarre charm that really grows on you. Awesome choice.

Paul, you're going to paint some of these? I can feel my wallet dying inside. However I agree, I really enjoy this toy, the only issue I have with it is the waist joint. However that is something easily ignored, you guys killed it on this one!

 

I really like the detail on the back of these. Hopefully Shubz shows at NYCC.

None at all, actually. It only served as background. I made sure to keep its distance from the figure. Even still smells like it cane straight from the bag.

This seemed the most appropriate place to post about an upcoming Shub Zeroth exclusive release...



Rivet is proud to present Horror Business - a solo exhibition featuring the work of Brian Ewing. This show will encompass new and old limited edition screen print work by the poster artist as well as an exclusive colorway release of his vinyl sofubi toy "Shub Zeroth" with Meta-Crypt and forum member jhateball.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, November 2 from 7-10pm with the artist in attendance. The exhibition will be on display through November 30.

This will be Brian's first solo show with Rivet. He previously participated in the February 2013 group show "Ohio, You Rawk!"

Awesome! I can't wait to see more. I picked up a Shub at NYCC and love it. I wasn't feeling it too much when I first saw picks but when I saw it in person I was blown away. I love how the headsculpt is just pure evil.

Just to clarify (because sometimes the #crypt can be TOO mysterious): This is a trick or treat edition...random chase for whether you get Orange or Black. Both are mind-blowing in-hand.
