I picked this piece up with several other vinyl pieces in a trade recently. I really like him quite a bit, but I was wondering if anyone could identify him for me… I have no idea where he is from. He has no markings, and is about 8 inches tall. I'm GUESSING he is vintage, just by his general look, but I suppose I could be completely wrong…. I just thought I would try checking here first! I'm not sure who he is, but he has a nice home with me :). Thanks a lot for your time everyone!

    ^^ very cute!

My first thought was Albert the Alligator from Pogo Possum, but I'm pretty sure he never wore red shorts . . . .

    ^^ Just saw this… sorry..

That was actually my first thought as well, but it just doesn't fit the character on a whole. Albert usually has some kind of red tie, and a cigar. Plus the eyes don't match up…..

The mystery continues I guess :)

all from a boot sale, all 10p each :)

If anyone knows what these are or who makes 'em i'd appreciate some schooling.
I thought they might be old-ish Kinder egg toys but i've looked through a bunch of
    Kinder databases and no luck . . . . I love these!

I'm sure it is a sport mascot, 2 years ago I saw a yellow turtle same size a position like this and it was a mascot. I don't know the team or country origine.
The turtle has also red short and a white t-shirt.
    Soccer or volley ball probably.

    ^^ Sounds very likely.

Here's a rare little treat i picked up a local boot-sale. I always wondered if Combex did a Jerry to go with their Tom squeaker.
I've seen Tom online many, many times in varying conditions but never Jerry.
Not much info is available online for Combex, so its very hard to know exactly what they manufactured over the years.

I was surprised and very happy to find this Jerry.
When i bought him he had some kind of white goo stuffed into the squeaker . . . it looked like gloss paint but i soon realised it was something else.
It had a similar consistency to chewing gum but wasn't sticky at all.
Anyway, i spent about 20mins digging and pulling it out and with a bit of fiddling i've got the squeaker working again. Good as new :)

Most probably manufactured in the 1950's.
