Shame that there isn't an east coast D-Con-like event (other than the massive clusterf*ck that is NYCC). Cali is too far/expensive for me to travel to. At least I'll get to look at purdy pictures on IG...
LA Brainers, hoping for some travel advice... Is renting a car a must-do for LA, or is it pretty safe/easy to get between LAX and Pasadena on public transit? I was thinking a car might also give me time to hit up TAG and Giant Robot etc. on the Sunday.
or you can use uber or one of the other ride share companies for a ride to pasadena. it also depends on what you want to do just dcon?
Yeah if you're just doing DCon then you can take the Goldline there but if you want to go to TAG and places in LA then you're going to need a car.
Just moved from NYC to LA, so pretty hyped about DCON this year. Praying to the toy gods I won't be working that weekend.
