A buddy swang over last night, played it few a few hours. Pretty good, wish I had more time, need to buy soon, love the original recording lyrics instead of the covers. Especially Beastie Boys and Metallica....
watching the minutes go by like hours waiting to go play it at my buddy's house in his amazing media room with 100'' projection screen!
Had some technical trouble with my 360 guitar. The neck didn't fit into the body very well and my frets and Star Power were really erratic. I returned it and thankfully got another set that worked just fine. I dig playing a lot of the songs. Paranoid, Black Magic Woman, One, and Raining Blood all gave me my big badass rock thrill. A few songs including Sabotage are unlocked in co-op ONLY which totally stinks if you don't know anyone else that knows how to play. The battle system I'm not into at all. And the final showdown was not as satisfying as trying to noodle your way through the last part of Freebird in GH2.
Just got home from palying GH3 all night and finishing almost all the songs first time around.... If you are a fan of the GH games and are on the fence all I have to say is METALLICA - ONE! Worth the price of the game alone! So much fun to play! I rank this game way higher than the past releases! Incredible song list and major character and venue improvements... and what could be better than KAIJU ISLAND! (i think that was the name of the stadium)
