I am amazed that anyone would think Kozik did this design. If you look at his body of work his limitations are very obvious. All his poster work was basically pilfering and reassembling which was kind of ok and even somewhat original in the beginning. Once he started doing toys he designed a bunny and then all he ever did was add a cigarette and or slap and an anarchy sign onto existing designs.
That's some weird, inexcusable slop, if you're going to have a detail like that. Just don't paint it, if that's the way you're gonna handle... And the execution of this Belchor/Usagi-gon campaign... y'all have covered all the bases needing to be covered, but I will add an eyeroll... here we go <grunts with effort>:
