another black unpainted arrived late last week:

 

i am totally enamored with the beauty of this sculpt in black

 

i love how this side is reminiscent of biomechanical design whereas the rest of it is so organic. beautiful!

it's made by yamomark and is known as "mushroom soup man"

That one is actually "Barabaran." It's basically a centipede wrapped around a rose bush monster. Really amazing design.

 

This is one of those cases where i would go for the unpainted version. The painted ones i've seen look great but the unpainted makes you work for your money in trying to make sense of what the hell is going on.

you can really make out the fine details on this one. i'm not a big fan of the painted ones either, except for the blobpus version which i hope to find some day.

 

You always make very beautiful photographs jcat. Even the crappiest pieces would look great through your lens !

But Barabaran is already amazing by itself, and this all black version is a black gem.
