    Hey SBers-

First of all, I just want to thank you all for the tremendous support for the event last night, and for the website going live last night as well. The turnout was great, the artist and their work spoke for itself- but fate could not have brought me & three more amazingly talented, hardworking, and gracious guys together. I just can’t say enough good things about these three! And one of the nicest surprises out of this weekend’s endeavors has been the amazing comments people have written to me personally through the website. To have so much excitement and supportive encouragement is what makes all the late nights worth while. This is why I do this every day, through hell or high water, because I have a passion & faith in promoting and enhancing our toy community with all of you!

It was pretty hectic & down to the wire with the website going live the day of the show. Honestly, some last minutes tweaks & setting changes were occurring before the show pieces went up for grabs at noon today, and like the old cliché, haste makes waste. My sincerest apologies go out at this time. It is my understanding that some of you with older internet explorer had some overlap issues – we’re working to resolve this as I type. Some of the show item pictures went blank as they sold, but that was almost instantly corrected. An automatic setting was switched off that ended up effecting the inventory adjusting, causing us to oversell one item. And the biggest issue (and hopefully last), and the one that is most upsetting to me personally, was that the pricing for many show items put on the web was incorrect (but by no more than $10). No non-show items were affected. These have been corrected on the website as of now, and anyone who had purchased any show items before this was caught will be contacted via email in the next 48 hours and offered their choice of refund or store credit. Please understand that we have had only the best intentions in this web opening, and have learned a lot of hard lessons in the first 24 hours! This last oversight was honestly due to utter exhaustion, miscommunication, and a definite dose of fan-boy! It took 6 hours after the show ended to get all items loaded in time for the noon web release. I sincerely hope everyone knows me well enough after my 3 year journey to know I am here for my peeps.

I feel like this right now:

Yeah, Props on a great show. It was great to see boards bubbling with anticipation, then seeing photos go up on flickr and then the excitement of heads scoring stuff. Wish i could have made it, but thanks to SB we (internationalists) were able to see it all go down from a far. Keep up the great work!
