I hesitated because the +100 price tag. I was thinking it would be 60, 70. After half a minute or so I said what the fuck and tried to check out but they were gone. But that seems like a high retail for such a small figure. I can't help but think they're taking advantage of the early hype.
Noop, no one taking advantage of early hype. Most Japanese companies don't offer wholesale. Add 3rd party fees because many won't deal directly. Add shipping. My markup doesn't leave much room for the fact I may be charged customs when it enters Canada. No one taking advantage of early hype here.. not our style.
I think they were priced fair, cheaper than the other two I bought after market. I never think about "well what would I sell it for, am I going to get my money back?" fuck that it's toy collecting, I buy it because I LOVE IT. HYPEZZZZ or not, that lil fella packs a BIG punch once in hand. #swoon
Price is more than fair. Try getting this from YJA. I'd figure GT's run is even smaller than the 1st. Retailers should be able to have a reasonably healthy mark-up or why even bother.
