I was so stoked when I got to check out the other custom SK at the TAG show ( I had entered lottery for that one) . And completely blown away when I won the chance to purchase Level 7. Weird kismet indeed. I call it a toss up, both are the best King Smogs yet! Thank you everyone for the kind comments. All praise goes to Nari-san, my current favorite toy creator!
I had the same idea as you guf, needed to take some pics of this guy. Your King Smog looks amazing. I'm blown away by how much color is put onto these customs, in hand they look so amazing. Here are some ok pics of my new Mr.X I love how menacing the head coming out of his chest looks.
My thoughts exactly. That Mr X is killer. All of the last 2 batches of customs were killer. Nari-san's use of gold and silver to create candy and metallic effects are what I am diiggin about these last customs. Elegab ichibon!
Me Type A. First look does look similar to earlier scheme. But can't resist these candy colors on a yellow base. I think its going to look great!
Same here, but i went for type B. After missing those gorgious 1off smoggs i had to get another smog fix The rainbow on neon yellow did it for me.
I'm glad I went for it. The yellow vinyl base really makes the whole thing pop! Gold sprays is interesting and different. Outstanding!
^^^^^ That painted yellow King Smog really turned out quite nicely. Looks good next to your clear pink one. Finally got around to taking pics of my lottery King Smog also on clear pink vinyl.
^^^^now this is one killer King Smog. The use of blue paint is great. Very different. I especially like how the blue goes down to the left leg instead of and even application. Awesome! Well, at least I share the same smoke stack
I'm finally getting my over abundant Elegab collection narrowed down to a couple of key examples of each of his figures (sort of like Noah's Ark.) I don't think I have to search any further to fill the King Smog slot. I think I'll hold on to this one for a while.
I just won the latest lottery for a Mr. X Type B. My wallet just wanted to sarcastically thank Guf and Connell for getting me into these figures. Thanks guys! (seriously, Elegab's designs are awesome, I can't wait to get Mr X! Pics shall be had!)
