OK. I'm pitching a tent. Going to be dropping my mediocre (at best) photo capabilities on you guys in this thread. I invite others to share. I give you Popy mini sofubi:

try to post a pic of the bottom of the feet.

The toy company that produced this pieces name is Victora ビクトラー It's a subsidiary of Popy, in the same way that Popy is a subsidary of Bandai. The little green logo with the white letters is much less conspicuous than the Big P logo.

Truth be told, it isn't really a Popy... but it is!

You can read a very headdy article here by Matt Alt at ToyBox DX's data files that covers the basis of the Victora and Popy relationship and some of the toys offered (mostly diecast).

I highly recommend the data files to solve some of the many mysteries of the Japanese toy "who-dunnits?"

And congrats again on the Awesome little hunk of mini vinyl! Daidenjin rules!

Yeah, this thread's definitely magical! Someday, I'd love to document ALL my mini robot vinyls...not that I have a ridiculous number, but I'd just love to take nice pictures of 'em all lined up!

Really glad to see this thread revived. I only wish I had more of these gems to contribute myself. I wasted too much time hunting monsters, and the few robots in my collection are mighty lonely. Brilliant toys all around on display here. The Diana A is a superb find indeed! I also like the Spiderman one just for it's absolutely bizarre nature; so hard to find toys from that show.
