So with only a day to go it looks like it's a done deal . . . SDCC has officially fallen off the calendar!

It seems like even the super-crappy 'Designer Toy' wannabes failed to raise a thread and I've not seen a single mule request from some random n00b!

Curious to see how rapidly NYCC will disappear down the shitter after it!

SDCC is not the same anymore after Gargamel/bwana, Pushead and Lulubell stop having a booth there .
Dcon is the place to be now:lol:

Well, that depends on how you define 'attending.' If you mean attendance in actually going to the Con, versus having a dedicated table set up. To be fair on the latter account though, SDCC has become such a massive (and corporate) phenomenon, that - with all the extra, more niche and relevant shows out there - I can completely understand trying to maintain focus (and money, and time) on the other shows.

SDCC has been a massive mainstream event for years now. Nothing new... Just full of corporate rehash and corporate wannabes. There hasn't been anything redeeming about this event in well over 10 years. Just easier and more satisfying to wait it out... Let the dust settle, watch the flipping, watch the hype wane and then scoop up the deals for those interested in the crapola

I always enjoyed the pre SDCC fund-raising frenzy on the BST!

    This year . . . NADA!
