I think the boxed version has the same exact figure and was a run of 100. I guess the box-art makes it cool. There was one at Mandarake going for 15,000yen, but its gone. Retail were 10,500yen when first released.

Re: Shikaruna Koubo Database- updated 2/24/10 Yeah this was the first one they put out. I want to say in 2009 or 2010 maybe? They put it out in this color, blue or silver. Was really pricey. I think at the time close to $175-$200 at least. Came in a wooden box. EDIT: found the thread we both were in Choon! Unfortunately I no longer have the photobucket account to recall the pics maybe someone else saved them?

Sorry for the crap pics (there is another in mail day thread): While it's not the Giant M1 Tetsujin-28 Brown version I desire so much it's still a fun toy. A little smaller than I thought but still nice. 9 points of articulation, some where you least expect (one of the wrists and the entire waist swivels). Actually maybe 7 points if you don't consider the jet pack tanks in the back.

whoa, that's the first orange bodied mixed i've seen. i have a dark green body on mine. i've also seen a couple with gray bodies. nice score!
Redhanded your mixed part looks awesome. Here's the 1 I got. I saw another 1 that is almost identical to it. I think my favorites are the clear grey and light green. I'm still surprised Grumbletoy has these bags in stock.
