Cool. I guess a complete Suckadelic collection is quickly becoming out of reach. Further proof that you should always buy first and think later.

Funny situation there ... increased media exposure could draw more collector interest to his work, but it might also draw the ire of the Suits of Lucas. Eh, who am I kidding? They probably already know about it and don't care.

seems like the celebs have jumped on the bandwagon as well. Ironically, Andrew WK showed up to the show after Nick Gazin painted this on the wall 2 days before the show not knowing he was coming.

Keep in mind this guy is all about stretching irony out to the limit....he's throwing those prices up a) because he can and b) it was gallery related and c) as a commentary on the insanity of all this.....its almost like a dare....naturally we'd be fools to buy in on any of that....he stated in his press release that normal prices would resume on this site....

    Sucklord busts his hump. Royal.

I hope he gets everything he deserves in life and more. :D

I'm pretty sure if the Suits of Lucas knew they would definitely do something about it. I mean, they stopped a micro brewery from using likeness of a storm trooper helmet on one of their beers.

Maybe Lucas thinks the SuckLord is cool and ripping off a Storm Trooper helmet to sell "Imperial Stout" is lame ?

BTW Lucas also thinks the world is gonna end in 2012 so maybe he has relaxed on the brand protection.

I guess. Although I can't think of any other image when I hear "Imperial Stout Trooper". It just screams Star Wars! It's actually a pretty good stout in itself.

Lucasfilm knows about Sucklord, do a search on starwars.com for "sucklord" and "suckadelic" and you'll see he's all over the site.

I think he's just good at avoiding "imperial entanglements"...

Or, up until this article, too small/unknown to sue.

On the Star Wars site there's repeated coverage of his licensed art cards with Topps and there was an article of his Obama Jedi figure during the 2008 campaign. Believe me, they known about him for a while.

Hey Roger, were you at the show? I actually had a late dinner with Sucklord after his show and all of this was discussed. They know.

Oh geez, I had forgotten the Sucklord is the guy behind the Star Wars Galaxy die cut cards. Maybe because he did work for a Lucas licensed product, they cut him some slack. He also did artist recruitment for the Star Wars Galaxy 6 die cuts.

I really wanted to but got hit with a double whammy: head cold and snow-delayed trains. I'm going to miss the party on Sunday, too. Boo-hoo. I will be back to hang with you guys, though. Some day.

I have heard the Starwars side of things too. They consider it artistic representation of Starwars.
