    Re:

You have an Amazing Triton collection! :D
What do you think is the main difference between the Triton Vintage and current reissue by Medicom?

    Thank you and best regards!

I've seen vintage Triton villains for sale between ¥30,000 and ¥60,000, why are prices so high?
I've never seen a Triton of the Sea Vintage for sale, what would be an estimated price is for this figure? :?:

    Thanks!

Thanks for the info Axolotl ! :D
Do not you think, that some of Tritons seems to give them a pass of paint in the hair?

Anyone know how to differentiate the vintage Triton from the new Medicom?
To me they look alike, if one wears one of the new can be seen as vintage.

So here's a vintage and the Medicom. The Nakajima is a bit taller and bigger in general. Colours are exactly the same, as are the markings on the feet. Feet on the medicom seem completely crooked and the OG seems to have them less so. But it will be hard to tell them apart if a seller wants to pass a new one for an old one.

So Medicom took the mold on the vintage one, that's why the original is bigger...

Just thought I'd post a pic of my favorite six reissues from Medicom. I'd never be able to afford the originals so it was lovely they did these (Triton of the Sea and the Yonezawa Nodder set are my favorite reissues Medicom did):

Thanks for sharing Lixx, great group shot.
Lixx as you say, the originals are nothing cheap; a few days ago I saw the vintage Gerupesu in bag for
¥333,000. :( and recently followed the auction of the vintage Poriipeimos (it has a few small scratches but overall looked very good) ended in ¥40,000, a little more than I was willing to spend.

I'll have to start hunting the reissues.

Some body can help me with this, I recently saw the figure of Blueda one of the villains of Triton, but I have a question; on the sole of foot which has the N of Nakajima, also has printed number 2. It is not specified if it is vintage or a reproduction, how can you know if it's the original?,

This isn't a complete answer, but my Toy Angel schooled me that the logo is a turtle with an N in the center
You can see the logo on the heels. There are a couple of vintage Nakajima Tritons that were sold on Mandarake. I like to search through the photos to compare the vintage paint scheme and logo. Sorry it's somewhat vague. I'm sure an expert will come along and enlighten us. Not sure if I've seen a number 2 before...

    Any help here please?
The seller said that he did not know if it was vintage or reproduction, by that I stay with the doubt.

Thank you Grace, well you are right the N is inside the turtle, but what intrigues me more it's that number 2:?:
If someone could take a picture of the feet of his Medicom Blueda to compare it would be great.
I just want to know if this one it's vintage or a reissue?

I'm sorry I couldn't give you a definitive answer--I'm still a rookie when it comes to vintage. You might try sending a message to @kopponigen to see if he has a vintage version. You can see his shelf of Bluedas here:

or, you could ask @Lixx to see if he has a photo of the Re-issued Blueda logo

and @vintagevinyl seems to have the vintage version

I did check the stampings on the feet, and they seem identical to the ones you were asking about
