    Re:

agreed. but i've always called it chocolate chip mint. i've wondered once or twice if there was a difference between the two names as individual stores differ on their titling of this most illustrious of frozen cremes. i also wonder if there are any regional preferences, as is true for "soda" vs "pop" (some places in the US call all soda Cokes, as in "hey get me a Coke from the fridge?", what kind you want? "umm, you got diet sprite?") i was born/raised in NJ. where are you from skylar?

while my google search for "difference between" was fruitless, i instead chose a more base analytic approach. i googled each iteration separately and tallied just the approxiamate number of link returns. here are my results:

    Search Term
mint chocolate chip ice cream: 739,000 returns in .41 seconds

chocolate chip mint ice cream: 1,730,000 returns in .47 seconds

at least in my life mint chocolate chip ice cream is the title of choice, but winner of best ice cream flavor would be pralines and dick

I love black sesame ice cream. The only downfall are the black stains on your lips and teeth afterwards. Always good for a laugh :)

I think it looks cool. Like you just made out with the gothiest goth ever or you just ate dirt. It tastes good too. I'm a big taro fan as well, I usually think of taro and black sesame together cause' if a place has both I'm torn.

Besides the great taste, black sesame ice cream is cool because it is the ugliest looking ice cream out there. It's just this gray, cement like mess. Awesome stuff.

    Re: Re:

I call "soda" Soda, because that's what it is. Growing up in the mid atlantic states and for most of the world I'm sure that's what it's called. BUT having been in Buffalo for 4 years and noticing a distinctive midwest trend here (which is bizarre because geographically Buffalo is not midwest) EVERYONE here says POP, which annoys me to no end. So much so I go out of my way to start and argument with the natives as often as I can. I always say "so you're in a bar do you ask for a Vodka & pop?" Pop annoys me.

Not a very good argument as soda water and soda pop are two very different things. No one who asks for a "pop" is asking for soda water.

In the southern part of the midwest it's all called Coke. Pepsi is Coke, RC is Coke, etc, etc. It's kind of like all adhesive strips are band-aids.
