Today Steam has Team Fortress 2 on sale for $6ish. I nabbed it. It's playable for Mac too. Also they have Street Fighter IV for $9.99 but I think I'd rather get SUPER some day used for cheap if I ever get it.
I might sell off some PS3 games for cheap if anyone wants them. Shoot me a pm and I'll send you a list with prices. Probably $25 tops. Freaking World of Warcraft seems to suck the gaming life outta me.
Hahaha...that's not true at all. I probably buy 3-6 games a year. They just fall under the same season so it seems like I buy a lot. It's not like PSOne. I must have a hundred games but I left them behind when I came back to the US. It still annoys me that the cost of video games has gone up when the cost to make them really hasn't.
haha, thanks guys! this one actually didn't take me too long. about an hour and a half total for the character and his ride. the ride was just choosing the parts and then changing the colors. no stickers or anything. the teammate is all "handmade" except the gloves, shoes, and helmet shape, just had to change those colors. the stickers didn't take long to make this time. getting the hang of it now. bert- i havent put him up yet, but i will in a bit
alrighty, he's posted for download. fixed him up a bit more. color matched him up better and he now has 5 rivets on chest instead of just 4. spaceman teammate is his name, or just look for my downloads, lalosoda
when you go to the creation center, go to "mod", then "choose mod", choose your mod, then press start and it takes you to "photo mode". click L1 to take pictures. then i go to the playstation home screen, and under pictures they'll be there. insert your favorite sd card, copy them on there (go to thumbnail of photo, hit triangle button, copy, copy to sd card) and then download them on your computer and show off.
I read all these articles about how WOW players are flipping out and angry cause Blizzard is going to force them to use their real names online...........
lies. You can add people to your friends list by using their account email address. This way you can chat with them if you want even though they're on other servers...like Ed and I. I can even see what server he's on, what character he's playing and what level he's at. If you do add someone to your friends list via email, you will see their real name. So...my friends list in a combination of people I know outside of WoW that play WoW and people that I know from WoW but only listed as their character. What Blizz calls real friends vs online friends.
It's not as easy for people who don't have the Original 40, 60, 80 gig versions. Flash drive works just as good.
Quick question for the nerds up in here: If I want to play my XBOX 360 (or any other system) on my computer monitor is there a somewhat simple way to set that up? My TV sucks and I'm not buying a new one for a while and would rather play on something better and didn't know if this was an option. I Googled it but came up with a bunch of old posts and stuff I was iffy about and didn't know if anyone here had some experience with it. Or should I just NOT do it and still use my curmb-bumb TV (which is OK) for another 6 months or so? THANKS!
Depending on your monitor, it should be pretty simple. If you have a monitor with HDMI input and a 360 with HDMI output it's easy plug and play. Otherwise there's this: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/ which should connect to your monitor no problem.
I'll check that out, thanks. I was just curious if anyone here's done it and if they ran into any walls that I should avoid. I saw this today too looking at moded cases http://www.flickr.com/photos/42707444@N ... otostream/ I want it so bad! Mine is so old and crummy I should just pop the shell off and get it "custom" painted. I never really got case mods but they're fun to look at I guess. I see the fun though.
